My experience at the Evergreen Beauty College in Yakima was really memorable especially because It was my first time doing anything with my hair beyond just getting a cut or trim. I went in to get front layers and all around layers including balayage to give it more than its plain look. Tina Suarez worked on my hair and I was beyond impressed with the overall process and look afterwards, it truly felt professionally done especially with the handle and care that was taken to keep my hair in its healthy state being that it was virgin hair. Tina went ahead and only lightened my hair not bleached it which saved some damage to my hair which I greatly appreciated the consideration she took to my hairs health and overall look. I felt well cared for and beautiful at the end of the day. I didn't feel the need to even tone my hair because the process after it was lifted was just as I wanted it to be. I am beyond happy with the look and feel of my hair afterwards and how it maintained the days after. I want to keep it the way it looked then till now by continuing to schedule my visits with Tina, especially when she has been the one true hair stylist to listen and communicate through the process to follow through with the style I wanted with my hair which ended in perfect results. I’ve had my hair fall off, coming here. I came here 3 times for a hair color, getting my hair lightened again and again, because the student who was doing it wasn’t (I assume) doing it correctly—the result was noticeably uneven and not what I asked for each time. The 4th time, I got a different student (who did an amazing job and was super nice) but a few days later I’ve just noticed that some of my hair has broken off and lost several inches in the front. (Edit: the next day I’ve found another spot near the top of my head where my hair is a few inches shorter than it used to be as well. It just keeps getting worse ugh) I’m so frustrated I literally started crying when I noticed. I think it’s because of the excessive lightening drying my hair out so much, along with the fact that I typically clip my hair in a side part.

I brought my 8 year old daughter to Evergreen Beauty College for their FREE event on August 16, 2023. First, she had her hands sugar-scrubbed, rinsed, and lotioned. (I did too!) She then got to choose her polish color and had her nails painted. This was the first time my daughter ever had a mini-manicure! The young lady who did her nails always had a big smile and treated her like she was really special! Then she got a facial in a cool dark, quiet room. I got one, too. It was amazing! My daughter looked like she was in dreamland when we walked out. Lastly, she got her haircut by the sweetest young lady. What I liked best about the haircut is that she went layer by layer to really give my daughter's super thick hair the attention it has deserved that other hairdressers have never done. I 100% recommend Evergreen Beauty College for all of their services. They also do volunteer work in the community. What an outstanding organization!
