Jenny Mae's — Restaurant in Yakima

There is a lovely lady at our firm who has to eat gluten free, and it was her birthday. When I asked around where the best place was to get her a cake and heard that this place was the ONLY place to go, I called; We had her put two of Jenny Mae's Cinnamon Crumb Cakes aside. While picking up, I was met with a smiling face and knowledge. There were other gluten free baked goods for sale as well that I will be back to try. Good bread ...when they actually have stock of it... They close at 3pm for summer hours and everytime I go in to buy bread they have nothing so refer me to order. I have called over and over they dont answer ever. They need to hire more people so that the average working person can buy something from the store and doesn't have to try and make it to thier unreasonble hours and deal with poor customer service in terms of their ordering. They are closed on the weekends too so dont bother trying then. Maybe rethink their business plans. Unprofessional behavior...

Love this bakery! I ordered a dozen chocolate cupcakes all the way from Los Angeles for father's day. My dad has Celiac disease so it was very crucial that there were no traces of gluten in the product, which Jenny assured me herself that the cupcakes would be 100% safe for consumption. She was flexible with timing, easy to coordinate with over the phone, and my dad raved about the flavor! It's hard to find yummy gluten-free baked goods! Very happy with my experience, I'll be sure to order from here again....
