Ron’s Tacos and Burgers — Restaurant in Yakima

Was so disappointed. Order 4 milkshake and they were completely melted. They would give us a refund or new milk shakes. We also ordered nachos and a bag a muxx fries. Fries were good the nachos but handed to us nearly upside-down was pretty rough too. Talk to the manager the next day said I had my bank statements and pic. So the could see when we order it and the milk shake were already melted when handed to us. Almost 80 dollars for 4 cups of melted milkshake and some nachos they handed us almost upside down. I have a bunch of family and friends that go here. They will not be supporting a business that doesn't take care of there customers. We have never complained and know they can get busy so have alway let little things go. But we are done now. My other family that was with us this night will be writing reviews on here and social media to worn people about our experience before they spend there hard earned money. The managers she have just taken care of this. It was a younger sounding girl on the phone and she said a man the other mangers was there to and he agreed not to replace or take care of us. Ron's used to be one of or favorite but I guess we are done here. This is very clearly a trickle down from management. Start being more involved and make sure food quality is good and the you won't have to replace item or loose customers. And fyi I know how special this place used to be and should be. I wish I could give this place 0 stars... I paid $7 for a grilled cheese and when I ordered I was informed that they did not have the ciabatta bread its normally made with so it would be made with white bread. When I received my food my grilled cheese was actually two severely squished hamburger buns made to look like bread. The outside was burned and had a terribly overpowering taste of onions. Did they use my sandwich to clean the grill?.....idk! The menu stated the grilled cheese included a 3 blend of grated cheese & 2 slices of cheese. Once again, that's not at all what I received. Half of my sandwich had no cheese on it at all any the other half had cheese that was like those processed Kraft singles. Oh and the rest of the cheese was in the little bag the sandwich came in. The food and ungodly prices were not the only bad things about the place. We sat in our car in the parking lot to eat our food and the one and only man working kept coming outside and doing just weird stuff like walking to a barrel not far from our car and moving it a foot over then going to the street light pole and checking the meters on it and opening some box on there, then returning back inside and continually opening the back door to poke his head out and then go back inside. It's not as good as it used to be. We ordered cheeseburgers fries lemonade and a water. The guy didn't hear me say water, or the second fry. Almost 40.00 for 2 burgers 1 fry 1 medium drink and ranch. When we got our order I asked about the water he has a look of huh? Said he didn't hear the water and needed to charge me for it. The ranch had a strange tartar sauce like flavor not sure if we were charged for it or if it was included he didn't give me a receipt. The buns were dry crumbled made a mess in my car. Had a glob of mayo in a couple spots between that and all the lettuce it was hard to taste the burger patty. This place used to really good for burgers and ice cream. Fry portions used to be bigger. Seems they're on the shrink-flation trend. Quality has gone down here. Can't speak for the ice cream it used to be the go to spot in the summer. Probably stick to just ice cream next time if they don't charge for every little topping. The menu said add 2.60 or something for toppings. Not my favorite...
