Matcha Verde Café — Restaurant in Yakima

I got the campfire matcha, strawberry cream matcha muffin, and the apple danish. The drink was really yummy, the matcha they use tastes really good and isn't crazy earthy, cause normally if you get flavors with matcha it can still taste like matcha not that, that should be the point. The matcha was just a nice additional note to what I was drinking, and I really appreciated that. The two pastries I got were both really yummy. The muffin was really good and I liked it a lot, the Danish was also really good every bit of it was a treat. I did want to ask if they were housemade but couldn't find a good time. They worked really diligently, their rotation from working the register to working on the food was top-notch, I like to see a place that has their routine nailed down. Had the pleasure of visiting this new Cafe last week and the vibes were amazing. As soon as you walk in the establishment you are greeted by friendly, respectful staff and the presentation of the decor is so refreshing and peaceful there is plenty of seating, books, and the smell of the cafe is desirable. I had the pleasure of trying their strawberry iced matcha and the taste was spectacular, and the presentation of my drink was aesthetically pleasing. The owner of the establishment happened to be working that day, Lori M. G., she quickly took my order and helped her staff prepare the drinks. It is nice to see that the owner not only runs this cafe but can also fill in as part of her team members. Lori is customer service oriented and made my first time a pleasurable experience. I had the Matcha Brown Sugar Shaken at Matcha Verde Cafe, and it was absolutely amazing! The perfect balance of rich matcha and sweet brown sugar made every sip so smooth and refreshing. The service was incredibly friendly, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.
