Lego Star Wars is a masterpiece. The true beauty of the game shines when compared to the Star Wars source material it was based on. The sheer emotion and raw humanity presented by the characters goes much further than the average consumer can see. Every scene is beautiful in its own way, something that could only be done by Traveler's Tales distilling the franchise down to its core elements. Every blaster shot, every camera pan, and every single stud oozes charm and wonder. The true fan of the game can notice every detail and why it causes them to laugh, to cry tears of sorrow, or to reminisce of their childhood.
Anyone can watch a Star Wars movie and say, "Hey, that movie was great!" Anyone could say the same of the Eighth Wonder of the World that is Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Unfortunately, not everyone can recognize why it is.
At face value, the game is a simplified retelling of the greatest space opera story ever told. However, it goes much further than that. Many scenes from the movies appear, at first, to be retellings meant for young audience, but it couldn't be further from the truth. Many people remember the humorous elements of the games, but every iota of the game has a deeper meaning that only the most hardcore analysts could ever hope to catch even a passing glimpse of. For instance, in the first cutscene of The Phantom Menace's masterful Lego rendition, astute viewers may spot reflections of Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droids following closely below the "real" model. This may seem like a simple detail to show off the Trade Federations' polished floors, but it has a much deeper symbolism. This reflection is there to remind the player to reflect on the game and the impact it had on their lives as a whole. The "reality" of the droid lies above, overshadowing the things that are most important in life. Likewise, although the "Vulture Droids'" reflection is among the first to ever grace the player's screen, there are even more deeper meanings hidden in the floor below. Many people may simply stop after seeing the first few reflections, but there are even more. Like the rest of the game, the deeper meanings and reflections continue, in the hallway where Obi-Wan Kenobi and his master, Qui-Gon Jinn, are lead by a silver protocol droid named TC-14. This detail goes to show that nothing is ever as simple as it seems. Every layer has its own layers, hiding beneath what many people believe to be the "truth" of the symbolism.
I would gladly describe more of this world that has hidden in plain view of millions of those who partook in the greatest work of interactive computer software known to man, but I feel that I must leave some details for my readers to find on their own. Perhaps this will drive some of you to explore the deeper meanings of this work of art. Fret not in your endeavor! Though it be a trying road, there is always the chance that you will make a discovery as...

Holy cheese balls, Batman! Tony's Big Cheese Pizza is a slice of heaven that fell to Earth and decided to set up shop in our neighborhood. I sauntered in the other day, casually craving some cheesy goodness, and decided to throw a curveball at the unsuspecting cashier. I asked for a cheese pizza with garlic butter instead of the usual red sauce because, let’s face it, my stomach has a fiery grudge against tomatoes. The cashier looked at me like I’d just asked him to build a rocket ship out of mozzarella, but without missing a beat, he accepted the challenge like a true pizza wizard.
Minutes later—seriously, I barely had time to read the first chapter of my book—out came this beautiful, cheesy creation. It was like a golden disc of dairy dreams. The crust? Oh man, it was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy, making every bite a little piece of pizza paradise. And the cheese! So much cheese! It was like the cow's final act was to give its absolute best for my dining pleasure.
But wait, it gets better! The pizza maestro himself popped out to check if I was loving my custom creation. Who does that anymore? Tony’s, that’s who! If there was a Pizza Hall of Fame, this place would be inducted twice.
So, if you haven't been to Tony's Big Cheese Pizza yet, you're doing life wrong. I’ll definitely be back, probably before this review even gets posted....
Read moreI called in my order and the guy said it would be 15minutes. When I picked up my pizza there were two employees up at the front and only one person in front of me. No one else waiting. I told the girl my name and that I had called in my order. She rang me up and told me it would be a few minutes. While waiting 5 people who came in after I did walked out with 4 to 6 pizzas each and I was still waiting for my two pizzas. I walked up and asked if my order was ready yet. It was on the top on the left side of the heaters, just sitting there the whole time I was waiting. They never checked when I first walked in. I waited 20minutes for nothing. This is not the first time I've had to wait for an order I called in. I always leave my house at the time they say it should be ready just to give them a little extra time. My family likes the pizza but the...
