We were visiting family and my son got car sick, we tried to make it to the bathroom but it was locked and the staff behind the counter didn't even greet us or as if he was ok or what was happening, so I took him back outside and he puked on the patio because he couldn't hold it in anymore. He puked a couple times to be honest, I was sad for him and embarrassed, no one likes being sick in public. A staff member was walking back into the building and saw us, just said "what's happening" and I said he tried to make it in the bathroom and apologized because I know no one wants to clean that either. He didn't offer water didn't say anything, went inside where they all complained about it, and even came out and poured water out over the icky spots, still didn't offer anything or check on us. My husband finished up in the drive thru and we got back in the car and got him home. I've ate here a few times visiting town, I was heartbroken to be treated so coldly when I just needed a toilet and water for his car sickness. Customer service isn't what it used to be in Yakima anymore and part of that blame is for the city itself, your gangs and homeless problems are killing your employees' kindness and common courtesy. I ordered through the app. Wendys took my money. They couldn’t find my order on their end. I had The receipt from the Mobil order and the proof they took the money out from my bank. That was not enough for them to make the order. She stated to call the app. It’s Saturday they are closed until Monday. So now I’m out the money and the food. I will Never be returning to wendys. I understand if i was just saying i ordered But i had The Mobil order receipt and proof. That was not enough. They didn’t even try to make the situation right. I had no idea that saving of this magnitude were still available post covid. Seems everyone is using covid and the gas prices to take us consumers for a ride of a different sort. Someone is profiting, but that's another issue. Here I give Wendy's credit for doing their part to try and off something for those of us who find ourselves financially strained. I am pleased to say that the meal was satisfactory: I got four items--double stack burger, fries, nuggets, and a medium drink, all for $5.
Service was decent, and restaurant was clean. Nothing really to complain about, except the price. Try the value menu, and take some of that hard-earned cash back home....
