I'm a bit confused as to all the great reviews, maybe they are not all real? We walked in and the restaurant was empty. Waited for quite awhile before someone came out from the back to greet us and seat us. There was no drink menu so not sure where those beautiful drink pictures came from. So, we ordered margaritas. Hands down the worst drink I have ever had. It tasted like water (literally) with a splash of tequila and touch of lime. We ordered 3 dishes, adobada chavindecas, enchilada verdes, and carna asada. The chavindecas was okay and the green sauce on the enchiladas was good, however the meat was bland, the tortillas dry so the sauce couldn't save it. The carna asada was like shoe leather. Beans and rice, plain and bland. There are so many Mexican restaurants in Yakima to choose from, I would suggest trying...
Read moreIt’s a small little place that was empty when we showed up. This is kind of surprising with the quality of the food being high. This was my second time here so now I have been able to try each of the tacos they have in the menu. The guacamole was freshly made. You can see them even making the tortillas from scratch. I love when restaurants do this. I don’t go to Yakima much but this place will be a repeat. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. Well worth the money we spent. No it’s not crazy expensive either.
Went back last week because the food was great the first time we went here. It was late after the Seahawks game and we were driving back into town. I ordered some of the different Tacos. They were even better than before. Hands down this is the best Mexican restaurant in Yakima. Adding...
Read moreStopped in to get some take out as I like to try new places. Ordered the aguachiles and an order of chilaquiles rojo con pollo. The workers were very friendly and while I was waiting for my food to be prepared they gave me a free appetizer which was a sort of egg roll with a couple of spicy sauces. It was so delicious( please definitely add this to the menu) and set the pace for the rest of the meal. When I got home I was in heaven. The aguachiles tasted fresh and were a bit spicy (which I love) and I think the tostadas were made in house. The chilaquiles were amazing and elevated from the normal comfort food. Overall a fantastic experience and I will...
