F and L Pizza Cafe 2 — Restaurant in Yarmouth

First of all - I went into the wrong location (Hyannis) thinking I ordered from the one next to my place of work! The man at the counter was very kind as he told me that I must have ordered my takeout from the South Yarmouth store - which is only 10 minutes down the road and actually closer to my house. He even called the S. Yarmouth location to make sure that they received my order and to make sure it would be ready for me when I arrived. When I got to the second restaurant, I could see someone at the counter from my parking spot. The person immediately knew who I was, and had been waiting for me. By the time I walked in the door, he was back from the kitchen and at the counter smiling with my pizza and calzone. My order was still piping hot, so I took a minute to chat and joked about first going to the wrong restaurant. The man (I unfortunately did not catch his name) took all the time in the world to talk to me, knew what I ordered and confirmed it verbally without looking at it on a screen or a piece of paper, and I could just tell that he really cares. As I was walking out, he said that since it’s my first time there, he wants me to be sure to let him know how the food was. I said “I will”! So that is what I'm doing here in this review. I am going to call them after I post this as well, to let them know that the food was PERFECT. I didn’t know how it would be, but I had been wanting to try a meal from F&L for a long time. I’m so glad that I randomly decided to try it today because it was just SO GOOD. My interactions with the people working at both places, along with the excellent food I just ate, have managed to put me in such a good mood! I will 100% be back to support this business and to try more of their cooking. Lastly, I just want to say that it was crystal clear to me that at both restaurants, there is a high standard of authenticity, quality, and service. It was very evident to me that everyone contributing their time and hard work to these restaurants, takes the utmost pride in their work and their passion for it really sets them apart. Myself and my two teenage sons moved to S Yarmouth 2 years ago from Long Island, NY. We have been desperately trying to find good pizza, we decided to at least settle for decent. (But we continued to de disappointed). I noticed when this place opened up in S Yarmouth, but didn’t bother investigating, as we had given up. Tonight, we had a full house of guests, and looked it up as someone had mentioned how good it was and we decided to give it a go. Im SOOOO happy we called for a delivery. Nothing crazy, just a large cheese and large pepperoni pie. It was absolutely amazing! Closest we can get to NY Pizza. My boys are extremely discerning when it comes to Pizza and have decided from now on we will ONLY be ordering from this place. overall a great meal-wouldn’t recommend eating in though! place is in a strip mall and super small. not dirty or anything, just perfect for take out. food was still pretty hot when we got home. pizza was loved by everyone, mushroom and broccoli pizza had a good amount of toppings that did not disappoint. the homemade pasta was so great, the sauce too! we also loved their chicken parm, cheese was nice and gooey and chicken was cooked great. the one thing that did disappoint was the chicken parm sub. i didn’t have it, but was told it had very little sauce on it and was visibly lacking sauce. great place for when you want a quick and easy meal for home-that’s quite...
