This Inn may not be on the ocean, it may look like a motel from the street BUT once you drive on to the property you will be impressed with how pristine the grounds and building are…believe me, you don’t need a beach to be impressed by what this Inn offers! We’ve stayed at a well known Inn on the beach 2 miles from here and the accommodations couldn’t even come close to the rooms here at The Escape Inn! We were invited down to a friends house for a end of the summer beach bash so I was trying to find a place to stay for 1 night, ha good luck with that during the peek of summer, most places had a 2-3 night minimum stay until I came across this Escape Inn, I called to speak to someone in person to explain we only needed 1 night not only were they SO friendly on the phone but they were able to accommodate us! When we arrived all we had to do was follow the instructions from the text they sent us with the room number and security code to enter our room, it was great! We walked into our room and thought we hit the jackpot! The room was meticulously clean, new, felt fresh and had everything you can think of when needing a good nights rest, it even had earplugs for those of us who have snoring partners! I usually have a hard time sleeping in hotel (public) rooms but not here, I felt clean when going to bed/waking up, the bathroom was spotless I swear it was sterilized and I know this sounds gross but you can literally eat off the floors in the whole room! The continental breakfast in the lobby across from the beautiful outdoor pool was relaxing, yummy and fresh…everything was super clean! I can’t say enough great things about staying here, we will definitely be back! Don’t hesitate to stay here, book it, the prices are cheaper than the others...
Read moreLocation was great, hotel was kept up nicely, and room was cute with cape cod beach feel. Unfortunately my husband and I were not treated very well by a long haired blonde woman with a heavy accent. Possibly manager? Upon check in we found hair between the bed sheet and comforter. We went down and asked for a refresh. Girl with short hair was sweet and wonderful going to change our bedding with haste. The other lady…. Not so much. She asked us what happened and we nicely explained. She went to our room and came back and said they “took care of the bed, didn’t find hair that we spoke about and hoped we don’t find anything else to complain about and remember these are no smoking rooms”. Very rude and out of line! We were very nice and understanding as hair gets stuck to fabric, we didn’t deserve how we were talked to. Especially given a reminder on smoking in the room insinuating we would do so. We smoked a joint LEGALLY before arrival (off premises) and had absolutely nothing in the room to elude we would break rules and want a cleaning fee. Experience left us very uncomfortable and we will not be returning to this location sadly based on customer service and lack of respect within the first 20 mins. That was the start of our Anniversary trip that left a sour taste...
Read moreI stayed at the Escape Inn from October 11 thru the 14th, 2024. Was in the area to attend a wedding. The wedding activities were centered around Harwich Port but the cost of accommodations in that town were a bit outside my comfort zone. Staying at the Escape Inn availed a more reasonably priced stay, and it was an easy drive of about 15 minutes down Main St. to get to the various wedding destinations. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Additionally, the staff were always friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the continental breakfast that was availed each morning. It included items such as fruit, croissants, muffins, bagels, and hard boiled eggs. Outside the front desk area was a machine that dispensed water, and each morning I would refill my water bottle.
The TV availed a number of free streaming shows.
Overall, I had a great stay there, and was very happy I chose the Escape Inn! I recommend it to all visiting the area.
Only very minor negatives I can bring up was that the bathroom floor was quite slippery stepping out of a shower. They might consider rugs or something to minimize that as that aspect may be concerning for elderly travelers. Additionally, don't believe the TV availed any local channels. Would have liked to be able to...
