Mimi's Cafe — Restaurant in Yorba Linda

We had the pleasure of dining at Mimis today, and I simply had to share my wonderful experience, all thanks to our exceptional waiter, Jackson.

From the moment we were seated, Jackson’s warm and welcoming demeanor immediately set the tone for an enjoyable evening. He was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, helping us navigate through the diverse selection of dishes with ease (this is otherwise challenging with small kids that want to order themselves).

One particular thing that stood out was when Jackson took the time to explain and repeat every time we requested something.

Speaking of the food, it was outstanding. Each dish was a delight to the senses, and Johnson's timely service ensured that we had a seamless dining experience.

Thanks to Jackson’s impeccable service, our morning was off to a great start. I wholeheartedly recommend Mimi’s Cafe to anyone seeking not only delicious cuisine but also exceptional service. I look forward to returning soon, knowing that Jackson will make our dining experience just as delightful as this one.

Um I can't believe our visit. First they didnt bring out my wife's food out with our food. So we waited for her food. My daughter didnt want anything for the first ten minutes. Then she decided on something. I finished my meal and they finally brought out my wife's meal. A shredded beef omelet. That had no shredded beef but had two chunks of meat. She wasn't happy my daughter got restless as we waited for her order. I asked our waitress where my daughters food was as we told her we were not satisfied with her food. They offered to replace my wife's food but did not know about us ordering food for my daughter.

At this point we had been there for an hour. They put a rush on my daughters food and girlfriends reorder. I asked for a latte while waiting for their food.

We finally got their food and while they ate I reminded the waitress I was waiting for a latte.

I mean eyeroll. We finally left about 12 lunch time after going in for breakfast. The manager offered to pay for our meal. But really I would have offered us back for a free meal for such a chaotic experience. I used to go to mimi's quite often but I am blown away that this is the...

The Salmon Benedict was pretty good. The other meals not too bad. They do not cater to non dairy for milk in your coffee! Wow, in this day and age when so many have found out they are allergic like myself. And the milk they do offer is in the little packets, so my Wife had a bad one, and it ruined the coffee. Then they didn't bring a replacement coffee for 10 mins. So we finally hunted them down and asked for it again. So I had the OJ and that was good. But I really wanted that coffee! Staff are pretty good but not great like some other breakfast places. But they were trying, and perhaps new. This place could be amazing with a few tweaks and proper staff training so that the customer feels so valued. Will try a few other places before I bring people back here. But if there is no Cocunut or Almond Milk or some alternative, then I can't really fully enjoy it. For regular Milk users they need to offer Milk in a container from the jug npt these little packets.
