Mallory is my favorite pilates instructor. If she had a super power it would be healing!!! I had muscle and joint pain for more than 2 years before I joined Club Pilates. It bothered me so much everyday, but I didn’t want to share my problem with anybody because I felt that there are so many people who have serious issues that I didn’t want to be a whiny baby. When I finished my first class, Mallory was waiting for me at the lobby to listen to my needs. It was so sweet and welcoming. After attending her class 3 times, I understood why her class is so popular. My body started feeling different; The pain was bothering me less and started disappearing. I decided to take her class 2-3 times a week. My hamstring pain, backaches and ankle pain all got relieved. I can say I feel strong and relaxed now. I was able to hike at Yosemite after 3 months of taking her class without pain. My body feels lighter and stronger and I feel more energetic and cheerful. Mallory is amazing and when I exercise with her I feel like it is 10 times more effective.
About her class.. When I took pilates class for the first time I struggled to follow all the moves. Group lessons are usually tough to keep up, but Mallory makes it 100% better because she never misses any student who are struggling. She watches everyone and comes up to help the person in need. The best part about Mallory’s class is that her classes are so fun. It is always different. She uses all the moves to tell different stories every time. I look forward to going to her class because I know it will be fun. I am sure she has a lot of experience and studied for a long time, but she still prepares for her classes to make them extra fun and engaging. Mallory is a professional pilates...
Read moreI recently attended a 30-minute free intro Pilates class with a group of friends, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Some of our group members arrived just one minute past the cutoff time and were not allowed to join the class. We were not informed about this policy beforehand, which made the situation all the more frustrating.
The lady at the front desk, Amanda, was particularly harsh in her tone when explaining the situation. Her lack of empathy and understanding left a bad taste in our mouths. Although we were offered another class at the end, the experience had already turned us off.
It's a shame because our instructor, Stacey, was awesome and really made the class enjoyable for those who could attend. However, the negative interaction with Amanda and the rigid policy left us feeling unwelcome. This experience has definitely discouraged us from visiting this...
Read moreheard from word of mouth that the instructors here are usually rude and clueless. Sadly, this rumor is true. From the start, this was an awful experience. Samantha was the most unprofessional instructor I've ever met. I showed up asking for class prices and to buy socks. She refused to assist me and said she didn't know what she was doing. Some kind lady gave me some socks otherwise I wouldn't have been able to workout!! The class started and she would get upset for every little thing did such as: getting off my reformer on the wrong side, didn't start the second she said go, doing easier variations because I have a bad back, cracking my ankles twice during our break time, etc... But seriously, I do Pilates a lot and this was by far the worst Pilates facility I've...
