A few weeks ago we tried their food to go. We liked it so much that we decided dining in and I'm pleased to say we had a perfect dining experience! FOOD. Everything we had was just omg, delicious! SUSHI ROLLS were creative, unique, and super fresh! Their BENTO BOXES were filling and the best deal on the menu. SHRIMP TEMPURA were fat and crunchy! And they gave us complimentary BEEF and VEGGIE GYOZAS. CUSMTOMER SERVICE. They made us feel welcomed. Greeted us the moment we entered an our server made small talks after she sat us down. They also didn't forget to check on us even though they were busy with packing to go orders and attending to other tables. Food also came in a timely manner. INTERIOR was modern yet comfortable. Clean floors, tables and restrooms! NOTE: This place gets packed so either come early or be prepared to wait. Price is on the higher side, but you're paying for quality. Highly recommend this place!

I lived in the Fountain Valley area for a few years and my favorite sushi place was Sushi Imari’s original location in Costa Mesa. I ate there all the time. However when I moved back to my home town of Yorba Linda I was sad to no longer have this place as one of my go to spots. Well, as soon as I found out that Sushi Imari was opening their second location here in Yorba Linda you can probably imagine how excited I was. I’ve already been here 3 times and the food is just as good if not better than I remembered it! The service is quick, staff is friendly, and the owner lives here in Yorba Linda, so happy to see another locally owned business open up that I can support. If you like sushi this will quickly become one of your favorite spots in North Orange County so come check it out!

Pretty good non authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. Their fish quality is decent but definitely wasn't top notch. Their fish pricing, however, commands market pricing. Their sushi bar is treated the same if you were sitting at a table. Kind of beating the sole purpose of having a sushi bar - small and quick orders from the sushi chef is usually what I look forward at a sushi bar. As an avid fisherman most of my life, so naturally I am very particular to fish and know fish - especially tuna. Tuna is my favorite fish, and unfortunately it was all pretty mushy.

I have been a customer of Sushi Imari since they were in Costa Mesa over by the airport. So I'm a long term customer, even back to the days of having their VIP cards.

Yesterday, I went with a friend to this location and was unimpressed. The food wasz great. The service was terrible.

We went in at 1:30p. They close for dinner service at 2p, which we weren't aware of however, usually restaurants will take customers up until close so we didn't think anything of it and they took our order.

Basically, we were rushed and ultimately asked to leave but we weren't even done eating yet. I thought it was extremely tacky and quite rude....and a waste of money.

I've never been treated this way by Imari and was pretty kicked out by it. So much so that we will not return.

Long time...
