I am so glad I no longer live here. While touring the place it seemed extremely nice and the staff at first was extremely kind. I did not originally live in Youngstown so I got roommate matched. I was told by an employee they would not put me with people and did not want me to feel "uncomfy." It does state that roommate matching could not be a perfect match which is completely understandable, but they put me with disgusting people who refused to clean. All they stated was that I would have to get someone to sub-lease my apartment. Another thing to consider: Out of all the campus housing parking is terrible, it's across the street in the back lot, it takes about 4-5 minutes to walk to the apartment and that's if you can even get a spot because it will fill up quickly. Before I signed the lease they told me it was "about 2 minutes away", which was far from the truth. You are unable to park right behind the building due to it not being owned by Campus Lofts. Campus Lofts is the only on campus apartment that does not have a printer for public use, in past reviews they say they're working on getting one, but have not. When asked to print papers out they have terrible attitudes. Overall the cleanliness of the apartment building is clean, but when I lived there I put in a request to have my dryer fixed, maintenance said they would send someone else to fix the issue, but never did. They promote a coffee bar, that was never stocked which they promote on social media. Paying over $900/ month I would have expected it to be decently stocked. If you work remote or have online classes I would not recommend relying on their internet. It constantly crashed and would be down for days. I felt lied to, and do not forget these employees are college students getting paid commission for you to sign a lease, so they'll tell you everything you want to hear! I would definitely live off campus for something better and less expensive! I am so glad I no longer live here and I do not want another college student getting taken advantage...
Read morePOSITIVE REVIEWS ARE PART OF A GIVEAWAY! I do not leave negative reviews, but making positive google reviews part of a giveaway is dishonest and deceitful, which pretty much sums up this place. Every other friday they do these giveaways and to enter you have to make them look good online, so it is all fake. They have increased my rent by almost a hundred dollars per month in the 2 years I have lived here. There is no parking so you have to buy a school parking pass and walk from the MVR. They exaggerated a lot of the features they had when trying to get me to sign. It looks nice in pictures but everything is cheaply made. The walls are so thin that I can hear the tiktoks of the girl that lives next to me. Just about everything that could have a problem does. Once we had a plant leak and the water flowed down the window of the people who lived under us through a crack between the floor and wall. Our counter is slightly inclined away from the sink so if any water makes it outside of the sink, it runs down the counter. If the toaster is plugged in and microwave is running, we have to hit the breaker. Our dryer doesn’t even fully dry our clothes. This is just the beginning of some of the issues. The only good thing about the Lofts is the maintenance man, Imad. He goes above and beyond trying to fix the poor choices of the apartment. Try...
Read moreCampus Lofts YSU is the premier off-campus apartment complex! The building’s indoor and outdoor amenities are perfect for everything from late-night study sessions to large group events with food and games in the common area. Not to mention the state-of-the-art gym and convenient package room. Julia, the property manager, does an excellent job of interacting with residents and ensuring that everyone’s questions/concerns are addressed and taken care of. Imad, the maintenance supervisor, works diligently each day to keep the building looking pristine, while promptly answering any/all maintenance requests for service. Campus Lofts also has an awesome leasing staff, as well as other assistants on hand to provide tours and answer questions.
I would highly recommend this apartment site to any student wanting to live close to campus and within walking distance of...
