Beyond disappointed, frustrated, and annoyed. I used to go to Pressed often while I was an undergrad student at YSU. I stopped going there because it is not affordable for what you get. Today was and will be the last day I will get food from Pressed. I paid 21$ for this meal which insanity. I ordered avocado toast at $7 and eggs at $4.50 with a medium coffee at like almost $6. I also ordered for curbside pickup and after waiting for more than 10 minutes outside, I decided to go inside and see that my order has been sitting under the pick up window - by the time i reached work (which is just in WCBA on campus) my eggs were already cold, so I can only imagine how long my food sat there for. If I would have seen my meal before I left, I would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else so I could get a decent meal for lunch. Website photos are not accurate. RIP - OFF

I went there the first time today and I loved it. The prices aren't bad (which is great since I'm a college student) and the service was fast ! They don't have public WiFi, but if you are a student at YSU you can get a medium to weak connection to the "ysuwireless" network and if you aren't, you can connect to the "YSU_guest" network which also is medium to weak. The vibe is amazing! It is a house-style building with seating options in different rooms, upstairs too I think (I didn't go up there but I think I saw other patrons do so). The lighting is low and relaxing with folk style music playing, along with some other genres. It was a great and relaxing study environment.

So for anyone wondering what a $9 avocado toast from this place looks like save your money. My daughter ordered to go got all the way home and opened her box to this joke. When she called to point it out, they offered her 50 CENTS off another meal. Like seriously? We normally support small businesses but this is a joke. Of course after driving 30 minutes home and having to go work is she going to drive back out there for the avocado. They seriously left off the most important part of the order, which left the piece of bread hard and cold. Needless to say neither of us will be ordering or recommending this place. Where is customer service anymore?

The place is very cute, yes, but the the customer service was appalling. The man at the register was curt and rude, and that is putting it nicely. The food (which we ordered to-go) was sub-par at best, with the avocado toast coming as a piece of bread and a separate plastic container with the avocado spread in it. Was not expecting to have to make the meal myself! The matcha latte was not even a little bit stirred and although I asked for multigrain bread I was given white. The frittata was supposed to have sun dried tomatoes and basil but had hardly either and was extremely over salted. Overall yes the cafe is cute but don’t waste your...
