The employees seemed annoyyed that I was there to buy food. When I entered the restaurant I was literally the only customer inside. The first employee saw me right away, looked at me, grabbed a sandwich off the line for the drive through, and walked into the back, all of this without ever saying a word. A second came out from the back a few seconds later and acted exactly as the first one did, she saw me, said not single word then returned to the back. At this point I was slightly offended by their rudeness, and also just a bit confused, but at the same time I knew what the problem was, there was a line at the drive through. After another minute a third employee walked out, looked at me a second, mumbled something ate I couldn't understand, walked away, walked right back into the front and took my order. I was already annoyed at this point and she made it worse. If you are listening to a customer and they ask for a Baconator Meal there is no need to ask them if they want the combo or just a sandwich. I already said combo. Even just now this second I realized d that she didn't even give me the right sized combo that I eventually asked for. I ordered a Medium, and she repeated it back, but I actually got a small which my receipt verifies. You get the idea. I'm not sure if this is some sort of top down push for quick drive through times post covid but I constantly deal with this at Wendys locations, being treated like a second class citizen to drive through customers. Quite simply, Wendys has turned quite rude and it's making me not want to eat there. I'm actually quite an introverted person so I'm amazed thats Wendys employees have somehow managed to make it akward for me not to talk as that's usually what comes natural.
My order came.ouy very quickly. The food was very good. I loved it and even the Coke Freestyle machine was well stocked with syrups which I don't always see. The only negative aspect of the whole trip was my service and it was quite appalling. Your employess are literally staring at and acting annoyed by the customers they have to wait on in the store, making people like me feel guilty for wanting to get food. This seems to be a growing problem at your and many other restaurant post covid. Seriously, next time I might just go to Burger King...
Read moreI think thatt his Wendy's location is one of the better ones, I went here tonight and the food was hot & fresh, unlike alot of other locations. The order takers at the drive through are always friendly and have smiles on their faces. I've been to other Wendy's location's as well as other restaurant drive through windows where the person taking my order, or who I paid my money to as well or the last worker who hands me my food, at times, NO - many times at some of these restaurants the workers at the windows had totally disrespectful and unprofessional attitudes, voice inflections that reflected anger or disdain directed towards a regular customer, of course I'm not saying that all other drive through fast food restaurants share this reflection of obvious poor store location management, but I wish that I could say here that it's only happened once or twice but that's not the case, I however can honestly say that there are many more professionally ran fast food restaurants then there are poorly ran ones, and this Wendy's location is one of those where its obvious that they have a very professional manager who promotes a positive work environment, one who understands the screening process when hiring new employees, and most importantly the employees who do the cooking are trained well, praise God for small miracles and great managers, and for all to read I have to say that this Wendy's location is by far my favorite. *ATTN; To this locations Manager, I have to commend you for doing the great job that you do, you obviously have been well trained as it shows through your employees. I have a degree in Business Management & Marketing from Kent State University, I've owned and operated several businesses, trained middle and upper management and I have to say that your style of management and the corporate culture you've instilled into your staff members speaks volumes, your corporate office, district and regional managers hopefully have taken notice to how strong your management skills are and they have plans for your advancement to a position that will give you the opportunities to soar as high as you can dream possible in the corporate world. I wish you luck and a successful and prosperous career and...
Read moreI walked into Wendy's at 4101 South Market Street in Youngstown, Ohio to enjoy a meal. I was not greeted immediately, because the workers were not attentive. The sad thing is, they made eye contact several times and still didn't acknowledge me. I ordered my food and asked for the chicken to be dropped fresh. I was told the chicken was already fresh. So, I finally got my food, and surprise, it wasn't hot or fresh. I'm sitting there eating and 3 boys walked in, I'd say between 10-12 years of age. They all had automatic Orbeez guns. They got into a spat with the one young worker. They asked the manager if they could get him. The manager said, "I don't care!" They played across the counter and began shooting orbeez gel beads into the kitchen at the workers. Then the workers began cussing at the 3 boys. A customer at the counter made a comment about professionalism. Nobody did anything to get the situation under control. The 3 boys left the store, and the young employee walked out by the tables. I made a comment to him about the 3 boys, and he was rude to me. A bunch of immature children that need to grow up! I will never go back to this location. The franchise owner needs to do a better job of hiring individuals that won't ruin his business. What ashamed that people conduct themselves in such a way as this. What a disappointing experience. I feel sorry...
