To the owner: I'm curious as to if you have or had offered your employee who was brutally beaten in your parking lot and had to seek medical attention any type of compensation or offer to pay any of his medical bills? Considering he was working at your establishment at the time of the incident, where three people beat on him resulting with him to having to have his jaw wired shut. I would assume that would be very expensive, not to mention the trauma he probably has ended up with. I can't imagine the psychological damage it has done and I know a pillar of the community such as yourself surely has offered to take care of a loyal employee, right? I know from recent visits that you pride yourself on running a safe establishment. Knocking on car windows, closing at 1am when too much melanin has shown up, and keeping a clear parking lot guiding people out with your flashlight. So, my hope is that you truly stand on everything you claim to be and have taken care of this man who could have lost his life due to your command to clear the parking lot in an unsafe situation. Drove by, dropped in, first time visit. Place could use a good scrubbing but it's called a dive bar for a reason and the bar was full when I walked in, a vote of confidence in my eyes.

Waitress was all business, bartender more talkative, no complaints here. They took my order and handed me a cold beer, what more could I ask for?

Wings came out...yum! Bartender told me he's been trying to get his buddies to try them out, said, "They're a-lot better than B-Dubs."

I'm no fan of B-Dubs but I became a fan of Powell's hot wings.

A five star dive bar, indeed. I've been frequenting this place for 15 years. It has reached a lovely rise in diversity. All kinds of people of all different walks of life hang out here. It's quite the community experience. Great drink specials and the staff is always running the show like pros. The kitchen has great wings, fries, mini tacos and so much more of better than average bar food. There's a back porch, seating, corn hole, karaoke (Thursday+Saturday) and some TVs for sports ball lovers.parking can be busy...
