In a nutshell; pretty good hbbq, location is tad bit tough to get to if you're coming from the other side but still good food.
Wanted a combination plate from then that I was just planning to pickup up but I wanted my sides swapped out but the online ordering didn't have that option unfortunately, fortunately though calling them wasn't that much of a hassle and asking for the side change was a piece of cake (no I didn't ask for a side of a piece of cake). Driving towards the location though I had to make a u turn just to get to them and if you miss the entrance you're going to need to do another u turn on the high way and another round just to get back so carefull not to miss the entrance. This is our new #1 "fast food" choice in YC ("the hub" for old-schoolers) from now on! I really don't do fast food because I'm pescatarian and that makes me a huge pain in the butt to my family. But a hawaiian-style garlic shrimp plate with mac salad and rice? Come on!!! I'm in heaven! It's delicious...just be aware you gotta get your fingers in there and peel the shell of the butterflied shrimp so you can get all the goodness out of it. The mac salad was so fresh....chef's kiss. Hubby was IN LOVE with his mini moco loco. I have been waiting for this place to open for so long and it did NOT disappoint!! The food is incredible. We ordered the BBQ mix (omg the short ribs), chicken katsu curry, and two musubi (spam and katsu). Everything was amazing!! Chicken katsu juicy, crispy, curry was so flavorful. The BBQ mix was SO good, I could eat those short ribs forever. I want to go back already and order more musubi. They are still getting their footing as a new restaurant so you may need to be a little patient (we waited 10-15 minutes and had no issue with any service or cleanliness of the place). The rice?
