Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Yuba City

I was very disappointed with today’s visit to Wayback burger in Yuba city. The crew member was super rude, throwing our food trays on the table! pushed chairs around in anger as they got a large eat in order @ 8:00pm. The crew member was very unprofessional and she was making so much noise in the dining area that it was hard to focus on dinner. I felt embarrassed to how that certain crew member treated us in front of our guest who came from out of state to visit and wanted to try wayback. This is the first time we have received this kind of uncalled for service at this restaurant. I request the management to please talk to the crew member who was taking orders around 8pm and working the evening of 4-2-25. We literally left the restaurant @ 9:10pm and that crew member could not stand us for those 10 extra minutes. I also witnessed a safety concern where the crew member stepped onto the baby high chair to turn off the open sign! Instead of getting a step stool. Please train your crew and please teach them about professionalism and safety in work site. I give 100% customer service in my career so I expect the same when I go out to restaurants. The sad thing is my husband even gave a good tip...

My husband and I were on our way to get Mr. Pickles when we saw this restaurant open. Since we love trying new places we decided to skip on Mr. Pickles and give them a try. (They have been building this place next door for a while but we never knew what it was going to be.) Anyways....food was AMAZING. The shakes were even better. Not too sweet, but just perfect. My husband got the Burbon Bacon burger with added veggies, chili cheese fries, and a drink. I got the Cajun Burger with added veggies, onion rings and drink. They had a deal going on were you scan their QR Code and get a free shake with every burger (which can be used in a single order). Since we both got the code we decided to try the Pistachio and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Everything was great so much better than other Burger places in town. A little skimpy on the veggies but overall still...

Today, was my first time eating at Wayback Burgers. Why have I waited so long? This place is excellent! The establishment is very clean and well organized. Nothing is out of place. They offer Signature hamburgers as well as Create Your Own. Every item on the menu is made to order. The hamburger patties are made fresh, and the veggies are pristine. The bread is so soft it practically melts in your mouth. The combination of all of these makes for the perfect hamburger. The French fries are hot and crisp, with the right amount of salt. And I love that they have Diet Coke instead of Diet Pepsi. Although, I will need to try a milkshake the next time I go there.
