After a bunch of friends told me that this place was good I decided to stop by and check it out. Walked in and was surprised on how clean everything was and how nicely decorated it was. The waitress saw us and sat us down. She brought us some chips and salsa which where delicious and took our drink order. Had a michelada which was pretty good and for dinner I had this fish/shrimp burrito in white alfredo type sauce which was pretty good. Only complain about the burrito was the shrimp was a bit in the salty side but other then that it was good. Prices were good, maybe a bit on the higher side. Its just a burrito with fish/shrimp and beans and rice which was most of the burrito. But overall I really liked this place. At least to go get some chips salsa and a beer. On Fridays they have a musical trio that plays everything from traditional Mexican music to Johnny Cash. (UPDATE) I came in for breakfast on 12/11/22. they asked me if I wanted the breakfast buffet in which I declined. I ordered from the small menu they had which most dishes where around $13.99 and decided to go for a chorizo breakfast burrito at $11.99. I received the burrito and started eating it and realized in had no chorizo. I asked the waitress and she took it back. When I received my burrito I took a bite out of it and realized they didnt even mix the chorizo with the eggs. Instead they just threw some chorizo on the side of of the burrito and to be honest I questioned if it was cooked properly. The coffee in the other hand was lukewarm and very watered down. We asked the waitress and she brought us a fresh batch off coffee which was better. We ended up leaving the place a bit disappointed and within a few hours I started getting a huge headache which became food poisoning that night. For this I must bring down my review from 4 stars to 2 stars. The last time before this I had come in January for dinner and there seafood was on point. Sadly as for breakfast I could...
Read moreWow, another delicious set of meals at Del Mar Grill (formerly called Delicias) for our large family get together. Food was as amazing as the first few visits and really sets Del Mar Grill/Delicias apart from any other restaurant around Yucaipa (and surrounding cities really). We got a big variety of menu items and all were great- ceviche (out of this world with a huge amount of fresh fish), chicken chimichanga (huge and full of tender chicken), chili verde (probably the best item on the menu- great sauce), carnitas (just right on crispiness and good flavor), the trio enchiladas (chicken, beef, and shrimp), Campechana (seafood dish- packed with oysters, octopus, and large shrimp), chicken and steak fajitas (steak’s marinate was out of this world), Albondigas Soup (excellent), and for the kids- cheese quesadillas and a burger with an ortega chile on top and fries (a random item compared to the rest of the food but was actually good and perfect for the kiddos). Every item was fantastic and I was very happy to try every single thing, Haha!. In regards to service- the staff accommodated our big party very well and handled our hearty appetites without missing a beat. Drinks were fantastic and came out fast. We had the mango and jalapeño margaritas, micheladas, large coors beers on tap (super icey coming out), negra modelas, and dos equis ambers. We liked all of it, but our very most favorite was the mango and jalapeño margaritas and the micheladas. Really can’t say enough about the great food and staff here, we will be back lots. Also can’t wait to try the updated menu coming out soon??) that we were told is coming along with...
Read moreFor starters we just left from Taco Tuesday. My carne asada street tacos were tender and yummy and the cilantro was very fresh....great and delicious and only $1. Unfortunately as far as the service I left very disappointed. My waitress was one of the rudest servers I have ever had..I can honestly say my husband and I did absolutely nothing to bring on her attitude. We sat down and without a even simple "Hello" she set down our menus and with 5 seconds asked if we knew what we wanted. We did ask a quick question about the street Taco prior to her asking what we wanted. My response was could I have a second to look at it. When I asked what my beer choice was, because there was no menu showing the beer selection, her rude and very snappy response was "that we have every beer" I asked for a Stella which they didn't have and then I asked for a local IPA which they didn't have. She named off all the Mexican beers and American domestics so shame on me for assuming that every beer meant only Mexican Imports & American domestics. Are tacos came out pretty quickly and as I stated were delicious. She never came back to check on us, never ask if we wanted water, and we actually had another server bring us the check in which I paid up front and left. It does need a spruce in the inside, I know that's just me sounding petty, but it's the truth. I guess if there is a next time it will only...
