Juice It Up! — Restaurant in Yucca Valley

The teenage boy with the blond hair who says he is the manager is very impatient and rude. I was running my credit card and he asked me if I wanted a receipt, I was still in the process of inserting my card and without giving me even a second to reply he demanded again “Do you want a receipt?” I told him I heard him the first time. I sat down to wait for my food and was replying to emails on my phone when he said “Your fruit bowl is ready.” Still in the process of sending my email I didn’t jump up at his command and he repeated himself again, this time in a facetious tone “Your fruit bowl is ready.” After having him repeat himself to me already about the recipe I asked him what his problem was. Apparently he doesn’t have time for a customer not jumping when he says jump! He said “You didn’t acknowledge me the first time.” Well, isn’t that the beauty of being a customer paying for a service? I don’t have to acknowledge you for you to treat me with respect. I felt rushed and I felt disrespected. My intention was to eat my fruit bowl there in the shop but after being treated like an inconvenience by someone claiming to be the MANAGER. I took my food and left. Juice It Up is hands down my favorite spot, and it’s all thanks to their amazing staff and wonderfully crafted smoothies. Yadira made me the most incredible Banana Playhouse Smoothie, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it changed my life.

This smoothie wasn’t just a drink; it was an experience. The flavors were perfectly crafted and you could tell it was blended with care. Yadira’s skill and friendly attitude made the whole visit even better.

I used to come to this location ever since they opened up. I’ve moved away but come back to yucca valley once in awhile and I ALWAYS have to hit up this location. This location is the only place (as far as I know) that has the secret menu “Banana Playhouse”. It is one of my favorites! The atmosphere and staff are always great!

My recent experience a group of me and my friends all got an obnoxiously large order and I think the worker at the time, I think her name was Yadira, was so accommodating and helpful (so sorry Yadira for making the orders long 😂). But glad they are here, always nice to come...
