It seems every time I go here and give it another chance my order is always wrong or the food isn't very good. Well, nothing different yesterday except it was even worse! I went to the Sonic app and redeemed my reward I had earned, which was ½ off any shake. When I happened to order it was happy hour at that particular time so it seemed counterintuitive, but I didn't know the time of happy hour at this particular Sonic. Nonetheless, I ordered the new Banana Pudding and Nilla Wafers shake large with extra cherries, a chicken slider with cheese added and a small chili cheese tater tots with onion added. Altogether my order came to $12. I drove to the Sonic to pick up my order and I was told to pull into a booth and let them know what # booth from the app. I did so and not a few seconds later a gal came over the speaker 🔊 and said unfortunately they ran out of bananas completely and would I like another kind of shake...well right then an there I was sooooo disappointed because it's why I went to do this in the first place. I only got some food to go with my banana requiring shake...anyway, I hesitantly and with a heavy heart ordered the "hot fudge" shake. I've never had it before and I love hot fudge so I thought ok and I kept it at a large. So, a few mins later my car hop gal brings me my order and she was super nice no problems there at all. I went ahead and began to eat my food starting with the taters...they were super hot 🥵 which is good but they tasted yucky and the chili was very dark and bitter.🤢😣 so glad I got a small, then I turned to the slider. Same thing as the taters, super hot which is good, but the 🐔 chicken fritter (not patty but real breast) was fried to a dark crisp...I thought oh great it's going to be like a door stop...it was and worse! I had to spit the bite out into my hands!! 🤮 The oil used to deep fry the chicken fritter tasted like it hadn't been changed since the first day it opened!! 🤢🤮 And that is exactly how the taters tasted, horrid! Plus the burnt 8 hour old chili to boot!! 😣 Ok so I go to some relief hopefully which is the shake...the only thing I can say factual is that it was cold ❄️🥶...other than that it was as tasteless as water. NOT🚫 enough fudge was added to accommodate a large size shake with all that vanilla ice cream it comes with obviously. Luckily it was ½ off with large shakes running right at almost $8 a shot and that's not including any extra goodies in it. If I wasn't so exhausted and down right disgusted with the whole situation I would've got out and went up to the window area to take all that back. It's not about the $12 at all...it's about my time wasted and my satisfaction and hopes dashed...again. This is the most egregious Sonic in my area has been with messing up my order and they've done it plenty of times before, but just little things with mainly drinks. I absolutely love the cherry limeade drink Sonic has and every time I ask for extra cherries and extra cherry syrup with easy ice and easy on the lime wedges....it never comes exactly like that EVER. Read morePulled in this morning, parked in a shady spot, and placed an order for two bacon cheeseburger toasters, one with out onions, a small butterfinger blast, and a medium diet coke. Waited a very long time before hitting the order button again and asking what happened to my order. Was told "the carhop is bringing it out now." Waited another 10 minutes and hit the order button. "That was for two corn dogs?" was the question/answer to my question. I said no, two bacon cheeseburger toasters. "Oh. One of those was without onions?" to which I said yes. "Do you want an onion ring on it?" No on that one, yes on the other one. "Sorry for the delay, I'll make it up fresh now." Another 15 minutes and our order came out. All correct, including one not having an onion ring, but NEITHER sandwich had a burger patty in it! Walked over to the door, and met the carhop coming out; handed him the bag and told him about the lack of burgers. "Sorry about that!" I leaned against a pole so that he couldn't forget about me. On one of his passes he gave me two tokens for free medium drinks; on another he said "I hate it when people have to wait, makes me look bad" and on still another pass he asked me if I wanted a free shake or something. I passed. Roughly 20 minutes after I handed the bag to him a woman came out with the proper sandwiches; I think she may have been the manager. She thanked me for giving them the chance to make it right. Then she said "I had to make those three times. When you order in the drive-thru, Don't Move!" I told her I was never in the drive-thru, and had not moved since ordering. She said "Oh, that's the problem! She entered it as drive-thru, and when the next person said they didn't order toasters I threw them out!" No explanation for the other issues and lengthy delays, but maybe they were trying to teach me a lesson. Overall about one hour from order to actual delivery. Two stars for eventually...
Read moreMy family and I waited for over 10 minutes in the drive through for our food when we were the first ones. I could see them all laughing and playing around inside and then the last minute rush came and they all looked very unprofessional running around not getting anything done. I can see clearly through the drive through window that the ice cream condiments were removed from the cooler and were sitting on a cart falling under temperature. Also my hamburger and hotdog should of been prepared fast. It only takes 6 mins for chicken so why did we wait so long. The hot warmers should of had enough to hold the food for the last 10. I'm guessing they were cleaning the grill trying to get off early. As we were waiting we can hear the manager yell to the switchboard " no more bacon after this!" Bacon should of been prepared. This place was my first job and I was the first lead cook at the YV location so I know ever aspect of that place inside and out. I was there from 2011 to 2014 with Jim & Little Jim. I am very upset with tonight's performance. The manager was rude and closed the window on me while I was explaining my unsatisfied visit. Management needs to be trained better. Not just the sonic learning computer bs. Send them to train with the A team so they can see what fools...
