Pizza restaurants are a dime a dozen nowadays. So when a review gets posted, itās either because the place is really bad or incredible. Tost Pizza is the latter. Absolutely amazing, fresh, homemade and hand tost pizza along with a unique and rememberable interior showing off the local talent and beauty is the minimum you will receive upon coming here. Along with probably the most friendly and non overbearing hospitality. Zach was upbeat and excited to serve my group of 5 when we arrived, recommending some of his favorites along with how we would like the pizza cooked. I was surprised and a bit scared at the low prices of the food (when compared to other bespoke pizza places) so I was worried about the quality of the food. So when the pizzas came to my table I was astonished at how great it looked. Perfect portions of sauce, cheese and topping and a fully cooked dough and completely lacking the greasy pools that is expected. Itās rare you get a pizza that hits every note I mentioned. Even in some of the best thereās something missing. Somehow Tost managed to raise the bar on what I can expect from small local pizza restaurants. I drive 2 hours to be here on a recommendation from a friend and I am excited to come again.
TLDR. Best pizza, atmosphere, service and prices youāre gonna find just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not sure where they learned this recipe, but I'm 99% certain that "Margherita" does not mean a regular cheese pie, but with nearly no sauce whatsoever, and two or three basil leaves baked onto the pizza so they disintegrate immediately upon contact. It was terrible.
Never before have I actually had to open my own tomato sauce and ADD it to a pizza before. It was over $60 for two of these pizzas -- but apparently that price doesn't include TOMATO SAUCE??
And then as an added bonus, everyone who choked down a slice found themselves repeatedly running to the bathroom all night afterwards!
This is literally the first time I can ever remember throwing out pizza leftovers. I rarely leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but this is just pathetic... How on earth does a business screw up pizza this badly?? I'm somehow both offended and filled with pity at the same time.
PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to 2 Guys Pies instead! Heck, I'd even go to Pizza Hut before I ordered another box of eight dry tragedy triangle intenstine wreckers from here. Get it together, Tost -- that ain't even how you spell "toast". Also, pizza is generally baked, not toasted? Jeez, everything about this place is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I totally love pizza. Everytime we visit somewhere new we look up the pizza places and pick a couple to visit. Our lust for pizza is so great, on multiple occasions when we could not decide which pizza place to visit. So we will order a pie from one place, have a slice or two, then head to the next. I'm not kidding around when I say this is one of the hands down top places I have been to for quality pizza. My wife said it is her new number 1, I'm right there with her, though I am listing it as a tie for first with another fav of mine. This place is so good and super casual. They could honestly dress this place like an expensive snobby pizza place with white linens and change nothing on their pizza menu and I think it would hold it's ground easily. I told my kids they could throw mayo on that crust and I'd eat it the crust is so good. Just enough char, great toppings, sauce had great flavor, just excellent. Staff was very friendly and made great conversation with us. Told us about some local events and places. Prices are extremely reasonable as well. Thank you Tost, for making some amazing pies for...
