A good customer experience or a customer experience turned good? Valentines...arguably one of the busiest day of the year, especially for Chic fil a with their adorable heart shape biscuits.
So, today, when I wanted a little bit of comfort, I turned to my go-to chicken biscuit with cheese! I decided to dine in as I envisioned fresh flowers at my table. The line was short, and my order was easily placed, with my iced vanilla coffee being deposited at my table promptly after.
Because I am feeling a lil spicy today, I choose the same for my biscuit. Moments later, my tray arrived. Yum! Breakfast!
I could hardly wait for the wrapped to come off my sandwich before sinking my teeth in. No cheese. "No big deal, I'll clean out my mouth and ask them to fix it."
Kelsey apologized and whisked the sandwich off my tray to the back as I returned to my seat.
Back at my table, Kelsey placed a poorly wrapped biscuit on my tray and, with a few more words, walked back into the frenzy.
Underneath that silver lined foil was my original biscuit (bite and all) with a cold slice of American cheese protruding off the edges.
I had a decision to make. Be a Karen or eat a cold chicken biscuit topped with a cheese slice straight from the cooler.
Back to the counter, I went for the experience I came here for, sandwich in tow. Kelsey was there, sympathetic for my request of warm melty cheese.
With a few taps on the screen and a conversation with another attendant, a warmly wrapped spicy chicken biscuit with cheese was placed on the tray in front of me.
It. Was. Perfect.
The biscuit buttery and warm, chicken with a hint of spice still steaming, and chhheese melted right into every nook and cranny.
To wrap this up, a less than perfect experience at Chic fil a is a rare occurrence. With proper communication and patience, the end result was the same. Perfection in every bite and 100%...
Read moreEvery time I visit this place I remember what I imagine nirvana tastes like. I can't stop going back repeatedly, I can't stop giving them more and more of my money. I have given it more than a half of a thought to fast on Sunday, because they're closed, and pick it back up on Monday. When I order I have to get a meal and an extra entree because I'm never fully satisfied with the meal, not to cast doubt upon they're value, its simply that the value delivered exceeds the price paid I cannot help but be tempted to spend more and more and more. The speed of service is superb and the stores are always super clean, the drive through, when busy, often times has people outside with iPads taking the orders meaning when you get to the window to pay its basically 120 seconds or less before you have the food and are driving off. Something else of import: even though I don't work for the company, I'm not a shareholder, I don't own a franchise, I'm not a spokesperson or any of that, but all of that said I do notice the definitive cheerfulness of the crew which cannot simply come from forcing them to like their jobs, they have to be having a good time and feel as if they're being treated fairly well, to display they're excitement that way. Do yourself, your family, your neighbors, the company, and the employees a favor and go eat there once or...
Read moreI went to to get me and my friend some food today. Got back to my friends house and realized we only had one drink, one medium fry, a spicy chicken sandwich and grilled nuggets (I ordered a 12 count fried nugget meal and a spicy chicken sandwich meal). So I called just to see if they would let me come back go get my food. When I called she asked "how did you drive away with only one drink?" Which I will admit not my brightest moment but since when do you question an unsatisfying customer on their intelligence? Anyway I was very happy when she said "we will send you out a whole new order to your house" then I gave her my address and she said someone will be there in 15 minutes. I was very happy with that and thought they just blew my expectations out of the water. Then a hour and a half goes by and nothing so I call and the girl who answered the phone apologized and said she left 5 minutes ago (I was pretty angry she left an hour and a half after my phone call but it wasnt this girls fault) so then she shows up and says I need to have my past recipe I find it in my car and go into my friends house to finally have a good meal. And one of the fries was missing.. I give up with this place. One of the worst food experiences I've ever had. Wish I could...
