Don Patron Grill and Cantina — Restaurant in Florida

UPDATE: TRIED AGAIN: maybe they’re good for dine-in but my order was missing things AGAIN that are not special or requested. Ordered the quesadilla dinner and got nothing but the quesadilla and beans. No Mexican salad that comes with lettuce/pico/sour cream. Asked for Chile rellenos a la carte and got one that obviously didn’t get added to an earlier dinner (it was cold and soggy) I picked up my order promptly. I’m not coming back. I feel sorry for the front of house. I asked them how Chente was treating them and they gave me “the look”…. Chente, the manager/owner, is RUDE and interrogates good patrons. Of the many times I have ordered takeout only once has it been wrong (the last time I ordered) and then today, when they forgot my order of queso, again. Chente came out of the kitchen and very aggressively questioned me in front of other customers as to why the previous order was not corrected then? (they were closed, he also tried to mansplain that there was a “Big difference between a small and large” that I paid for and didn’t get) and also questioned me about “which” hostesses were there…I explained to him that the current hostess was back there getting what was wrong now the second time and to please not be upset with her (cause he seemed to be) But he walked away from me as I was speaking to him and I may not be back. Use to be my favorite place to eat!! But now customer service has gotten horrible had to wait and still is waiting to get drinks and chips and salsa haven’t even order our food yet ! Never been this bad! I go look to find someone to take our order and they all sitting and standing by bar talking and on there phones! What happen to the best Mexican place!! Am just so disappointed and am still waiting to order my food this ridiculous!!! Still no waiter!! Went to four people and still no one the brown hair girl in the front told me someone sat us in the wrong table probably that’s why we was waiting and did nothing about it nobody did anything!!! So I go and ask to speak to the manager n was told he would be at our table which did not happen!! I had to go to him I was trying to explain everything to him n he cut me off to do the order then over charge me which the food should had been free since I waited from 4:20 to 6:00 it’s ridiculous !! The staff was horrible n rude one of the twins sisters was rude just walk by knowing and seen we didn’t have no chips or drinks or any help, the boy I talk to speak to a waiter and he goes and never comes back the brown hair girl in front just nothing but lies and still no help from no one!! This place needs to be shut down you don’t treat people like this!! I will NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE!!! and afterwards y’all want to laugh about it!...

My regular Mexican place was closed and I was really in the mood for Mexican. I went to Don Patron to try it out since my regular place was closed. Don Patron is a real dive. It doesn’t smell so good when you walk in but I was willing to give it a try. Sometimes a ‘dive’ can have great food. Unfortunately that was not the case with DonPatron. The atmosphere is early biker bar with a musty dirty dish towel smell. I ordered a burrito with ground beef, refried beans and rice. Nothing fancy, pretty basic Mexican fare. When I got it home and opened the container I saw they mixed up my order! They gave me a plate of garbage instead of the burrito I ordered. It was a disgusting disaster! See the picture. It looks a lot better than it tasted let me assure you. I took one bite and spit it out! It was just gross! It looks like something they would serve in county jail. I threw it down the garbage disposal and the disposal threw it back! I’ll never go back to this disgusting, abomination of a restaurant! Don Patton gets No Chef Hats and should give me some!! Instead they get 5 Thumbs Down!👎👎👎👎👎 and 5 exploding heads🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 and 3 garbage...
