My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Linda and trying her ice cream last week. My husband and I were blown away! The ice cream is incredible, in fact the best I have ever had (more on that later). Linda may be even more incredible. Her product is made with so much love! There are no BS ingredients. This is all natural, preservative free and insanely good. The ice cream is rich but not overly so which makes it far too easy to down a pint in one sitting and still want more....its that good! The flavors are noticeably present yet subtle at the same time. The proportions of add ins are extremely balanced. Meaning I'm not searching for a piece of pie crust, a pecan (which btw are whole and not in pieces!) Or chocolate to balance my bite. Linda has that covered! She personally prepares and cooks ingredients like baked apples for her apple cobbler ice cream (out of control good), stewed raisins for rum raisin (mind blowing), chopped fresh ginger for a special ginger ice cream (coming soon and eager to try). On top of this she is the only employee! It may be appealing to take the easy way out but Linda would never so this. She takes the time to make this wonderful product because it comes from the heart. It is love. By making it she shares that love and makes the world just a bit brighter then it wss moments previously. Ice cream (and soup which Linda also cooks!) Is my absolute favorite food. It is my death row meal. I have 5 different brands in my freezer currently all of which I will be throwing out other then Linda's. I have had the pleasure of living and traveling internationally and coast to coast. I eat ice cream everywhere! When I was a broke student backpacking in Italy I spent my 5 euro a day allotment for food on Gelato! I thought Iwas obsessed, and then I met Linda. I could never conceive and or produce an ice cream product anywhere near as good as this. After nearly trying all of the flavors in the shop, eating a cone at the shop, a cup later that night and now a fair portion of the 3 quarts I came home with I can confidently say I will go nowhere else. My husband and I have talked every night this week about how excited we are to return this weekend! Thank you so much for putting your love and care into this. It is felt deeply! Food is love and this is love in a bowl!

Read moreWow, this is definitely the best ice cream in the greater Pittsburgh area. My dad lives nearby and he keeps multiple pints in the freezer — he's a big fan. I got to try generous portions of the tiramisu and chocolate Oreo flavors.
The tiramisu was spot on — all the classic components of real tiramisu were somehow frozen right into the ice cream. You get the mascarpone flavor, a rich taste of espresso, and even chunks of ladyfinger. The texture was perfectly balanced, and the taste was rich and layered.
The chocolate Oreo was just as amazing — big chunks of Oreo cookies swirled into a smooth, deeply chocolaty base. Not too sweet, just really well-balanced and so satisfying.
Hands down, this beats anything I’ve had from the grocery store — and it holds its own (and then some) against bigger ice cream chains like Jeni’s or Millie’s. Definitely a local gem worth checking out. I've heard the owner is a wonderful person and a passionate artisan when it comes to...
Read moreVisited the store last evening during the Thursday night open air market. The ice cream was good but I was horrified at what I witnessed from the owner/manager. An elderly customer had an accident on the floor while waiting in line and was in the bathroom for quite sometime cleaning themselves up. When the customer who was obviously embarrassed and distraught already came out of the restroom the owner/manager began loudly berating them for having an accident in front of a long line of other customers. The entire place could hear this woman screaming and swearing at him near the bathroom in the back of the shop. While I understand that having to clean up an accident on the floor of your business during a busy evening rush is frustrating as a business owner or employee, it’s totally unacceptable to treat...
