I decided this morning that I wanted to try something new for a breakfast spot and I always love supporting a local place. I noticed Angela and Hiram’s spot was very close to home so I decided to give it a whirl. The great rating on Google and reviews influenced me and it did not disappoint. Upon arriving there, I was immediately greeted by Hiram and Angela with such a friendly manner as if we were family. Hiram noticed I was a first timer, which tells me they pay close attention to their customers, and did not hesitate to explain the menu and showcase his expertise. Hiram even allowed me to taste test their cold brew and Angela had fantastic recommendations on my order to make sure it was the best it could be. I can tell the care they put in their business and how important it is to develop relationships with their customers. I got their white chocolate cold brew and their weekly special on a croissant which was very good and it clearly had fresh ingredients. They even have a punch card, which I always love when a business has that. I was very pleasantly surprised by this experience and will be back again....
Read moreI am an AVID coffee drinker and love to try small coffee business around town and when traveling! I wanted to love this place so bad but I just couldn’t get behind the price. Menu said only $6 for a 24oz latte and I got charged $2 for flavoring and $2 for oatmilk which made my coffee $12 with tax. My coffee was the darkest brown so I paid $2 for just a drop of milk😭 I ended up having to go home and fix it. My friend also got a frappe and the guy asked if we wanted caramel drizzle and whipped cream but didn’t mention that both of those would be $1-1.50 upcharge which made the frappe $10 with tax for 16oz. We were going to get food as well but at this point we were almost at $25 just for drinks. I have never paid that much for coffee in my life even when I have traveled to more expensive areas. Espresso and frappe weren’t awful and the owner was very nice but can’t say that we...

My wife got a peach mango tea which was delicious on its own, but then he added mango puree as an experiment and it kicked up the flavor by 100%. My brother got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I ate half of it and omg. It was so so good!!
If and when I’m back in Tampa I will go out of my way to come back to Silvas. The food and drinks were top notch, but the service was even better!! The owner has a fantastic personality and kept conversation flowing beautifully while we waited on our food and drinks. It made the wait feel like we weren’t waiting at all. Thank you for such an...
