RIVET Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Zionsville

Place was lovely and given all the beautiful reviews here is part of the reason I'm making review. I requested a blueberry cobbler latte recommend by the cashier. I immediately disliked my drink within 2 sips. I was told there could be no exchange, refund or remake. I thought that was a wild policy and that possiblly the employees didn't want the hassle. I then asked for the mangers / owner. I was given her number and its in fact a true policy. Why? You clearly have many people coming through what’s that harm in remaking one bad drink. If this is a big problem for the business….possibly rethink items. In the owners defense its on the customer to know what everything on menu taste like and take 100% accountability for not like something on the menu. I was offered a discount on my next drink but I had explained that I had already purchased a second drink and nobody offered a discount. Probably because she's just so strict about this…they can't even use good personal judgment. The kicker is when I got my second drink the cashier asked about the first which he recommended. He then proceeded to say yes the drink isn't SWEET AND IT DOESNT HAVE A STRONG BLUEBERRY TASTE. All the things you would assume of a BLUE COBBLER DRINK. I understand and fully support small businesses but using that to hide behind poor customer service...

I finally tried the Zionsville Rivet location! For those who are new to Rivet they have their flagship store in Westfield on the north side. And that store is super popular yet busy. Doesn’t come as a surprise they opened their 2nd in Westfield library and 3rd in Zionsville. One step in and the ambience is so west like. I say that intentionally as the designer is from California. The customers are pretty stylish and the place is buzzing yet so spacious all the time. I ordered my Ethiopian black coffee and rivet known for their amazing coffee beans didn’t disappoint. For all car and coffee lovers, this is a spot to visit. It can be loud in there, but it’s understandable because of the space available. It’s basically coffee shop in the middle of a dealership and service. The staff seem happy here, very friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. Service really isn’t there since its not really a restaurant. The coffee is definitely strong, and tasty. Too many drinks to try for the first time, but there is always another time. Breakfast was decent, and would eat it again the bathroom is amazing, and clean. Overall, place is tidy and clean.
