I completely agree with other reviewers about the place being run by high schoolers. While I have no issue with high school kids working there, there should really be a competent adult manager in charge. When I asked what was on the Buffalo chicken melt, I was told what was on the BBQ melt. When I informed them again that I wanted to know what was on the Buffalo chicken melt, not the BBQ, it seemed to throw the girl for a loop. The kid in front of me in line told me that he worked there and that it was chicken, buffalo sauce, and cheese, so I ordered it. When I received it, I found that it also had ranch dressing. When I returned to to have it remade, the gal who (I assume, considering she looked no older than anyone else there) was in charge told me that that was how it comes. I told her that I asked what came on it FOR A REASON, if I had known it came with ranch I would have ordered it without it from the get go. She looked at me like I had lost my mind. The lady who was doing the cooking came over and apologized, and said she was asked what was on the BBQ, not the Buffalo (which I knew, so it wasn't her fault). Anyway, this experience is absolutely typical of every time I go there, not to mention it is always dirty. I want to take my business to Zionsville whenever possible, but from now on if I want DQ I will go to the new location...
Read moreThe occasion of visiting the queen of dairy was pure royalty to say the least. The fine dining was prepared in a timely fashion and was served with a pleasant smile. One worker in particular, Andrew S. Dodd, is a fine young worker with an iq of 150+. He is also as strong as an ox, he looked as if he could benchpress my entire extended family while still serving blizzards with a charming and delightful smile. As I ate my luxurious oreo snowstorm ice cream snack, I could feel a tingling sensation in my toes, reminding me of the true love that I have for this fine establishment. The fries were so crispy and golden that you could hear the crunch from Lion's Park. If Andrew S. Dodd was not working in this restaurant, there would be mass chaos and confusion. Without Andrew S. Dodd, I am entirely convinced that the business would tank utterly and shall be renamed as the "Dairy Joker." Because of the countless hours and dedication that Andrew S. Dodd puts into this business, the fine establishment runs smoothly. Overall, the experience was unforgettable. The restaurant was so clean that I plan on having my future wife deliver our first child in this Dairy Queen, as it is probably more sanitary than a hospital room. Fine work Andrew S. Dodd, I salute you and wish you the best of luck in...
Read moreSo we have a DQ by our house and we won't go there because of the terrible service we get every time we go. So we haven't been to DQ in a while. So we decided to go to the one in Zionsville and it was just as bad. I forgot to take a picture of our order because I wasn't gonna do a review. So soon as we come in it's not clean. The employees were not in proper uniforms. One of the employees pants were sagging which is not appropriate for work, regardless what type of business it is. The white couple in front of us got their Blizzards overflowing from their cups. The lady got a Carmel Cheesecake Blizzard so I ordered the same because it looked good. The woman who took my order, didn't have on a uniform, I told her 4 times what I wanted and she still got it wrong nor was it filled and she didn't turn it upside down like she did theirs. My wife ordered a 5 piece chicken strip basket and they forgot a strip. The soda fountains wasn't dispensing soda just water on several of the sodas. It didn't take them long to get our order which was awesome considering we came around 8pm and they had a long line in the drive thru. So I applaud them for that. I just hope they can get all this taken care of so I can come back. I love me some DQ but if it's going to be like this, I won't...
