Kayaking: pretty park, excellent kayak drop in spot. There was plenty of parking on a Sunday around 1 (free). Grass and sand until under the bridge! Seemed like a popular place to drop in. Level ground and a quick safe maneuver onto the water! Off to an excellent adventure. It took us near 4-5 hours with take out at the Eagle Creek reservoir office (white house near right off 56) but there were a couple of options to take out prior. We didn’t paddle the whole time and with a few stops of course. The river was a bit low but it didn’t stop us. Two particular areas that were not log jammed but mildly plugged were annoying to maneuver but nothing you couldn’t hop out of your kayak for and portage. Very safe and easy run! Great...

Soon after my last past in this area was repainted to be able parking. The no parking zone was made a general purpose area and no longer the loading unloading of handicapped users.
The parking spaces for the handicapped were moved from this location to near the front main pathway nearest the restrooms.
