This place yesterday earned a ZERO star. Very UNfriendly. Went to buy a few treats and purchase some gifts for my friends. Having such a lovely day and walked in here to: no greeting and a glare from the young woman at the counter. I said, "It smells delightful in here!" She looked at me and said nothing. It was odd. She wasn't busy there were NO customers there. It was obvious we were bothering her. So we walked out and took our business elsewhere. Update: Since the manager responded, I will clarify, it wasn't just no greeting. She did not offer help, etc. She was very negative, hence my, "very negative" review. The sign on the door said they are low on inventory and will be closing early, they were out of a few flavors of truffles that I wanted. I was overcharged for my chocolates because the girls didn’t tare the weight of my box. I watched her weigh my chocolates before placing in the box and she forgot to write down the total and then reweighed it with box and insets and ribbon. So, I paid more than I should have. It took 45 min to get two boxes of 8 truffles and a half pound of chocolate with only one person in front of me. The girl behind the counter was incredibly slow. I went there for the first time today and I bought a milk chocolate turtle and a dark chocolate whiskey truffle. The chocolate itself was very good. I do have somewhat of a comment about the experience. I was there with my sister and the person checking us out asked my sister a question (which my sister did not hear because she is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids in both ears. While that's none of the business of the person who was working the register) when my sister didn't respond to this person, they got exasperated and visibly rolled their eyes.
