Il Baretto — Restaurant in Punta Del Este

Excellent Italian restaurant, I have to say it is one of the best in the city. First of all the food is just delicious, it has a really good taste and a really nice presentation. The attention that we received was perfect, from the first moment we were treated very kindly and gently by all staff. I have to highlight the attention given by Juan Martin, he was our waiter and he was all time making sure we were okay, he is a really nice person and he was always courteous. The place is beautiful, it has a lot of space and you can eat either inside or outside, wherever you are staying it gonna be a perfect meal. Finally I have to say that all health measures were taken, at the entrance our body temperature was measured. Also, all staff were using mask and it was being used correctly. Of course you must use your mask to enter in the restaurant, you are free to take it out just in the table. I really enjoyed my experience at this Italian restaurant. We ordered the antipasti, the croquetas were just ok but the artichokes were really delicious. We also got a glass of Chianti. The main dishes were delicious and the portions are not small. I also like the dessert but I can’t say that tiramisu was the best I ever tried, just a fine one. We ordered a Prawn risotto… it was the worst. The rice stuck together due to the excess of cheese. It was so oily…. Really the worst ever. We also ordered a salmon salad, which had no dressing and the type of lettuce used is so bad.
