Restaurant Charrua — Restaurant in Punta Del Este

It was a rainy and stormy day when tour bus from Montevideo stopped at restaurant for lunch. I am always suspect of such restaurants(linked to tour operators) but the service and food was good.

Ordered Rabas a la romana and risotto son camarones with a bottle of Don Pascual roble vino. Final bill was reasonably priced too.

3 hours later when rain had stopped we had also finished a second bottle.

Overall experience was positive.

We ordered there, bread and aleoli from the entrance were about the only thing good. Paella was dry, overcooked, bland and expensive. Saying the canelloni was salty is an understatement, and might I add this comes from a person that gets told eats tons of salt in a regular basis. We arrived with a tous bus and a lot (if not all) the people from the tour choose this restaurant. The staff were not prepared for that many people and the service was slow and our waited was rude when we called her. We ordered the Paella for 2 and it was BAD. The menu should have specified that it had pork, but besides that, some of it did not seem fresh, only the fish. The rice was overcooked and it lacked...
