We had a dinner that day and as I walked down to Registon café on foot. I read o lot positive feedback about the food they serve and finally managed to reach this place. It looks miserable from outside with poor walls, entrance etc… You have to walk down to the tables near the river on a very steep stairs perhaps 60 stairs. But, once you are there you will forget your reaching period and will enjoy the river breeze and noise… Atmosphere is great. We ordered Samarkand peas soup, but it came as a 2nd dish, which is absolutely different, but delicious. We also ordered shashleek and they were terrible. Only chicken shashleek was fine, the rest were bad. They 2 sort of draught beer and one is Registon beer, forget it and do not drink it, it’s terrible. He 2nd was beer sort was better. We also had 4 tomato+cucumber salads with bread, and drinks. Total we paid 100usd for 6pax.
