Avoid this hotel - Worst Experience in Uzbekistan
This was by far the worst experience I had in Uzbekistan. The staff was rude and not at all courteous. I had emailed them twice requesting an early check-in, but when I arrived, they said they hadn't responded to my emails and it wasn't their responsibility. They completely ignored my request and demanded 50% of the room cost just for a 2-hour early check-in. And the way they said was very unprofessional. This was really disappointing compared to all the other places I stayed in Uzbekistan.
The room was also very small for the price. At checkout, they tried to charge me extra for things like "dirty towels," so be careful about that. They will chase you for anything possible just to get some more money.
On top of that, they entered my room without permission while I was out on a city tour and when my luggage bags were all open. They didn't even apologize when I came back. I never asked for housekeeping services, and I believe no one should enter the room unless I request it. This felt like a serious breach of privacy. They asked me to check if any items were stolen and report when I had to leave for the Tashkent airport in 30 minutes and had to go through some of my stuff but it was not possible having 4 bags. If time would have permitted, I would have lodged a formal complain to the tourist police in Uzbekistan.
The whole experience was frustrating, and I would advise others to avoid this place. The rest of Uzbekistan was amazing, with very friendly and helpful people. Our stays in Samarkand, Bukhara, and even another hotel in Tashkent were wonderful, but this place really let us down.
Edit - Now they are lying on the reply too on both fronts, I had booked the hotel for 2 days, on the 2nd day when I was travelling in the town, the staff had entered during the day, not after my check-out time. Why will I be bothered about the staff entering once I check-out of the hotel? Please don't reply back with things that makes no sense at all.
Besides on the early check-in my train from Samarkand to Tashkent was after 5am, how it is humanly possible to arrive at 5am, they should work on rectifying your mistakes and behaviour rather than trying to lying, it might suit you better. Besides I recently saw so many google reviews with these issues of breach of privacy and trying to extort money, should have seen it before booking this hotel with such a pathetic behaviour towards their guests from other countries, damaging the reputation of their country and hospitality in...

Room which we were given (B103) had no windows at all. When you closed the door it felt like a solitary confinement prison cell, which you see on movies. Up on complaining to the reception desk regarding the room, we were told there is no other rooms available and they were unable to do anything for us, until next day when someone checks out.
Keep in mind I had made a reservation a month in advance of my visit so I had some better expectations. Considering we have exchanged emails with hotel reception desk with regards to what time we will be checking in etc day before my arrival as well, so I did not foresee this room being allocated to us. Also on the booking.com page nowhere does it lists that some rooms in this hotel have no windows, which I found was a bit misleading. I would totally understand if I had walked in off the street last minute and demanded a room, and was told this is all the hotel had available for me, but this was not the case. So I find this totally unacceptable.
Although they did move us to a better room (302) with a window the following day, I would still not liked to have experienced that, hence I’m marking them down on my review. I am actually writing this review after two weeks of travelling round Uzbekistan and stayed in 5 different hotels, so this review is comparing to other hotels that are available...
