Hubby said this place boasted smashed burgers and bacon! That piqued my interest for sure!
We came wanting a burger! Then he saw the Big City Boi and got super excited, with double the patties, with bacon and cheese. I thought it was going to be so big that we couldn't finish! (Definitely not, hubby finished his and ate 1/3rd of my chicken breast burger.
I ordered the Chicken burger (missed Popeyes Amazing Chicken Burger). My burger came out 5 minutes after everything which was a little disappointing - sat and watched my hubby eat his burger, at least I had fries.
This then brings me to the fries. We ordered the Savage Fries, the cheese and caramelized onions with a special sauce sounded so promising! Well, the fries were doubled fried, which was fine but it was not hot. I mean, it had been sitting under a heating lamp for awhile and it was hard, not crispy as we thought it would be. I highly suggest to make fries to order because fries sitting under a heating lamp just loses its luster.
The burger was pretty good. The bacon wasn't what we thought it would be but it was still a decent burger - we have had better ones in Vietnam.
My chicken breast came out piping hot! I guess that was nice and tasted good but I was still disappointed that they staggered the burgers instead of serving it at the same time. I mean, everything was thin and a chicken breast so I can't imagine it taking that long to fry up.
Overall, I'd say 3 out of a 5. Lot of employees, we were sat down immediately but it took the employee about 5 minutes before someone realized we didn't have menus?
Anyways, it's good to give it a try, the menu is quite impressive! I was tempted to try the grilled cheese just because.
Overall, food was decent, not 5 star though. Gave 3 because fries were a disappointment and burgers were both good but just overall the delivery wasn't that great.
The place is cute.
Service was 3 stars too. I wasn't finished with my milkshake but the girl decided I was and tried to take it away...ummm. Currently there one another table being used besides us. Made me feel a little a bit rushed as if she was annoyed we...

food : hamburger Because of how the patty was made and grilled, it was soggy without any juice. However, it would be okay if the patty was thick and had a good texture, but the patty was quite thin and tasteless. It's really tasteless. The edges were slightly burnt as if they had been grilled, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I will eat cheap hamburgers because they are cheap, but this was the worst hamburger sold at a high price. It might be a wiser decision to go to Jollibee instead.
Taco (fried fish) I've never had tacos this bad before. The fish meat was thick and fried with no seasoning, so it tasted different. Above all, because of how it was fried, there was so much oil that I couldn't even taste it. I was so embarrassed that I tried to take a picture, but it wasn't worth it so I gave up. The person who really makes tacos needs to reflect.
French Fries I don't think I would eat it if it came out like this even in a cheap franchise. Among the foods sold here, there are some fried foods, but I don't think I'm very good at cooking fried foods.
employee : Most of them speak English, so ordering is not a big problem. I didn't think the staff were friendly. I definitely feel like I'm not welcome. I ordered French fries, but they didn't even check if ketchup was on the table. I waited, believing they would bring it to me, but they were busy chatting. I asked the staff for ketchup, but shouldn't they have given me at least a small plate to put it on? I was wondering where to put the ketchup, so I just sprinkled it on top of the French fries.
This store is not a place that sells cheap food. The manager and staff do not even check whether the customer's order was served properly. It's a serious problem.
Cleanliness : Sat at an outdoor table. There was an unknown sauce sticky on the table. The knives and forks served had stains so I cleaned them before using them. I don't know if the interior is clean, but it's difficult to guarantee that it is clean.
I'm truly disappointed with...
Read moreTo err is human , to forgive divine. I was keen to visit the Famous Bikini Bottom Express, as i had seen stuff on YT and every now and again , crave some western food. I visited with a mate, on a fairly busy night and ordered a couple drinks and smash burgers. So time was ticking along, and the young guy serving would pass by and say , "won't be long sir," and we finished our drinks. We ordered more drinks, and asked how far away the burgers were, and he hurried to the bar and we could see some debating going on between the staff, and he hurried back asking me to confirm my order. I asked him outright, if he had somehow lost my order, in which, to his credit, admitted there had been a mistake made somehow, and he apologised profusely and thanked me for our patience and would hurry the food along. Things sometimes happen, and life doesnt always go to plan. The young guy was smart to admit an issue, and kindly informed us the first drinks will be free. It was unfortunate that it happened on an occasion when we were both crazy hungry, but all i take from the experience is how well the young staffer handled the situation, with the utmost of care and sensitivity. His charming demeanor removed all the annoyance from our minds, and welcomed the experience as sometimes SHIT HAPPENS. Ok....BTW, the smash burger was excellent. The fries were excellent. I look forward to moving to Da Nang and regularly revisiting this fantastic eatery, as i can totally understand why its reputation is so good. When they get it wrong, they still manage to totally get...
