If you are looking for a good and inexpensive Vietnamese restaurant near the area of Châu Thị Vĩnh Tế street in Danang, I highly recommend the restaurant Bún Bò Huế V.Hải. As of today, February 29, 2024, I have been frequenting this restaurant every night since February 18, 2024. I have been going there on a daily basis because I like its variety of freshly made food, good service, and reasonable prices. When I dine in, usually during the hours of 8:30 – 10:00 PM, the restaurant is not crowded, and the customers are not loud. I typically order their most expensive dine-in meal selections, which have plenty of freshly cooked meat but are only 60K VND. For take-out orders, I especially like its 15K VND meat Bánh Mìs that have oven-toasted hot bread, plenty of meat, and flavourful sauce. These are the best-tasting Bánh Mìs for less than 20,000 VND that I have ever eaten in my life...
Read moreWe had the chance to try the Bún Bò Huế and Chicken Bánh Mì, and both dishes were truly satisfying. The Bún Cha came with a rich, fragrant broth that was full of depth — slightly spicy, savory, and comforting, just the way this iconic dish should be. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and every spoonful felt like a taste of authentic Vietnamese flavor. The Chicken Bánh Mì was equally impressive: a crisp, airy baguette filled with tender chicken, pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs. The balance of textures and flavors made it so enjoyable, with that classic crunch in every bite. Together, it felt like the perfect mix of hearty and refreshing. Ngon quá! (So tasty!) These two dishes showed exactly why Vietnamese food is so special — bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and a balance that keeps you...
Read moreVery tasty bun bo offered at this local restaurant. This is my favorite bowl in Da Nang! You can pick and choose your meat topping selection. I ordered the dac biet without pig leg (45k) and a large tai and gan (sliced beef and tendon) for 45k. The broth has delicious lemongrass notes and comes steaming hot. They give you a nice platter of fresh lime, vegetables, and herbs. The condiments on the table include sate, pickled carrot and onions, fish sauce, and chiles.
The restaurant has a very large menu including pho, rice plates, banh mi, and other items. The 10k banh mi looks very tempting since it's also toasted fresh. The service is quick and efficient. Tourist and foreigner friendly--use Google Translate on the very large menu board. Plastic chopsticks and metal spoons...
