I was looking forward to trying this place, but overall, the experience was disappointing.
The restaurant was quite busy, with mostly Korean guests — including several loud children, which made the atmosphere a bit chaotic. While the staff was generally friendly, service was slow. Preparing the fish took a long time, and when I ordered a fresh coconut, the owner had to run out to buy one from a nearby store because they didn’t have any ready. That took even more time.
I specifically asked for a Bánh xèo with a proper amount of beef (not extra), just a fair portion since protein is usually scarce in these dishes. Still, they charged me more — and the beef amount was still very little. I also had to remind them to bring the cucumber for the Bánh xèo special, which should have come with the dish by default.
Another letdown: they served the Bánh xèo with fish sauce, instead of the more traditional peanut sauce, which felt like cutting corners.
Overall, not worth the wait or the extra charges. I won’t be returning. Also it makes you feel weird when you see the einer leaving to grab a coconut he will charge you 3-5x more right in front of your eyes + the waiting time for it.

Read moreWith my husband we went 3 evenings for dinner at this restaurant. The first time we left very happy, I had Banh Xeo Saigon (crispy pancake), my husband had Cam Nuong (grilled pork) and both dishes were delicious. The second evening I had Nem Lui (lemongrass pork skewers) which the menu mentioned served with raw vegetables and actually it was served with lettuce and some herbs - not enough herbs…… but I didn’t complain, my husband had the Com Dui Ga Chien Mam (fried chicken leg) which had a good taste but way too sweet. Last evening I ordered a Pho Bo (one of my favourite dish in Vietnam), the Pho was absolutely tasteless, with just 3 little pieces of meat in and the server brought 2 plastic bottles with factory made sauce in them !!!!! No herbs, no chili, no lime on the side !!!!! For more than 15 years we come to Vietnam every winter and I never had such a disappointment with a Pho and most of the time I pay very little money for and it’s always tasty, This restaurant pretend to serve “Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine” ???? What a shame!! Janine...
Read moreFood is below average as best. They call themselves "authentic" , but doesn't taste anything like authentic Vietnamese food. I have lived in Vietnam for a long time, and my wife is a local Vietnamese and even she said food was below average.
Portions are super small, shrimps were cut in half instead of using a full size shrimp, and prices are as much as double as other places. They also give you a small handful of vegetables what will only fit the palm of your hand, while other Vietnamese places i have eaten at offer you a full size plate of vegetables...
I only give 2 stars since the place was clean.. if you are going to charge double the price, at least offer big portions and dont cheap out on ingredients and...
