Da Nang has plenty of vegetarian restaurants, but this is one you mustn't miss. Of the more than twenty vegetarian/vegan places I've eaten at in Saigon and Da Nang, this wonderful spot stands out to me the most. You won't find "Vietnamese pizza" or any other westernized dishes here. Every dish on the menu is vegan and authentically Vietnamese. You'll encounter flavors here unlike any you've ever experienced. I only had the chance to eat here three times, but what I ate has made me fall in love with Vietnamese cooking—and surpassed anything I ate during an entire month spent in Saigon.

Ideally, come with a Vietnamese friend who'll show you the correct way to eat some of the more exotic dishes. If not, I'd recommend just getting some rice accompanied by the layered tofu, since that's straight-forward yet packs amazing textures and flavors. I'd say it was the best tofu dish I've eaten in years.

If possible, avoid coming here on the day of the full or new moon, since it'll be super crowded with local non-vegetarian Buddhists who observe vegetarian diets twice a month. Other days it's not busy, especially mid-mornings or late afternoons, and if you're lucky you'll get a chance to chat with the owner who speaks good English and is totally devoted to bringing her customers the finest vegan Vietnamese food. A big multi-course meal will set you...

Tucked away on the quiet street of Dương Đình Nghệ, Da Nang Vegetarian Bistro 2 is a hidden gem for plant-based food lovers. This modern and cozy bistro offers a refreshing take on Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, blending traditional flavors with clean, beautifully presented dishes.

From the moment you step in, the ambiance is inviting—bright, minimalist decor with warm wood tones and plenty of natural light. The staff are friendly and attentive, eager to explain the menu and make thoughtful recommendations.

The menu is diverse, featuring a mix of Vietnamese classics and creative fusion dishes, all 100% vegetarian and many vegan-friendly. Standouts include the mushroom clay pot, tofu bánh xèo, and the refreshing lotus root salad. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and everything tastes homemade with care and intention.

Portion sizes are generous, and prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. It’s a peaceful spot for a relaxed lunch, dinner with friends, or even a solo meal with a book. Whether you’re vegetarian or just looking for a healthy, satisfying meal in Đà Nẵng, Vegetarian Bistro 2 is well...

Definitely not my fav vegan restaurant in Danang. I’ve visited just a few times, but I’ve never actually liked the food or the service there. It’s a bit overpriced for what you get, in my opinion. There are no souses or spices on the tables like it usually is in other Vietnamese places. They could at least have a soy sauce on the table and some chili to spice up their plane and dry food. Ones I ordered curry, it was plain and watery. Another try was a noodle soup with tomatoes. There was literally just one piece of tomato and a piece of tofu miserably floating on the surface. Last time I ordered stir fry mi xao with mushrooms and veggies. The price for a small potion is 45k, but for this money I didn’t expect it to be THAT small! And also, I think they messed up my order and brought me different type of noodles, which were obviously dry. Also I tried Bibimbap and it was the best ting I’ve had there so far. But again, nothing mind blowing. But interior is nice and they play nice soft...

This restaurant has certainly changed since the early days. From what I understand they have three branches and the biggest complaint is consistency between branches. The menu is now less premium feeling but still extensive with lots of options. Since I’ve only been to this branch, I can say the food is decent. The service is good and nothing to fault. Small feedback: there is the odor of fermentation coming from the kitchen. Not the nicest smell. Should be looked at. Also a bit of friction at payment as it felt like since I had nothing left to order or spend, the staff no longer need to be attentive. Ok for that -1 point. Otherwise top marks and will come back if I decide to be vegetarian again.
