What a find! Do yourself a favor and visit this hidden gem if you can.

Tucked away in the back roads, it's frequented by locals, which shows in the prices. We were the only westerners around which is always a good sign.

Super cheap, really clean, the most incredible selection I've ever seen. We spent so much time googling the names of the different fish and crustaceans we'd never heard of.

You will get the best tasting seafood here. The seafood is stored live in array of saltwater tanks (affectionately called The Lake) so you know it's super fresh.

The tuna sashimi was some of the best tasting sashimi I've ever had. 150k for 300g of sashimi is an absolute bargain.

The staff are friendly but English is limited - this is perfectly fine though, the ordering process is basically you pointing at things on the menu and them writing down how much it costs for a portion.

Straight forward, fresh, daily caught, market priced seafood, with an open air atmosphere facing the sea. Prices listed on the board, you can see/can pick your choose your fish/shellfish out of the tanks if you wanted. Many restaurants like this up and down the street. This was a good standard. Didn't see many tourists around this area at all at night. If you're here for that, this is it. Not much English with the staff, but if you travel enough you know this is not really a problem. Everyone goes to the beach for sunset and then eats right after, so if your go later, all these restaurants are empty, while all the locals are lounged up and down the sidewalks in plastic chairs sipping Nuroc Mia drinks at the street vendors. We ate there twice, the first time, we probably ordered right, and the food is enjoyable, the seafood soup is good and delicious, the oysters and shrimps were tasty, the Thai salad was nice. But the second time we went, we ordered octopus salad and tender beef cubes stir fry and it was a disaster, both the octopus and the beef were like leather shoe, tough to chew and tasteless.
