Izakaya MAN 2 - Ăn Nhậu Chuẩn Nhật — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. The staff didn't know the menu (when I asked what the restaurant's "kurorikishima" was, they didn’t know, and they also had no idea what "ume" liqueur was). They served cold shot glasses for hot sake, and although there were four of us, we only got two plates for the food. The service was extremely slow: my family and I waited over 30 minutes just to receive our hot sake, while oddly, the table next to us with Japanese customers received their ordered food and drinks within just a few minutes. Notably, the two bowls of ramen came with cold soup, cold meat, and the miso soup was sour. As for the oden bowl, I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to pay and leave. Oh, and the grilled meat was poorly marinated, the sake was bland. Overall, I never imagined I would have such a terrible experience at an izakaya and I will definitely not...

I have no idea where all these 4-5 stars reviews came from. I am sorry, but it is definitely a tourist trap. I have been to Japan for hundred times, so If you are looking for nice Japanese food, here is NOT 🚫 the place you'd wanna go. Sushi rolls are ok. Grilled fish not bad. The BBQ skewers, my dear, don't even try it. It's like they boiled it in water and just put some teriyaki sauce on. I would recommend the restaurants to buy a real charcoal grill to have the food grilled nicely, then you'd probably deserve these 4-5 stars reviews. About payments, dear* they don't do credit cards on such a tourist area. I don't have enough VND, so I have to pay USD. For sure they gave you a ripped off rate.
