Mangetsu Shochu Bar - Đà Nẵng — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

This is now my favourite Izakaya in Da Nang!

A very recently opened sake bar, with an amazing and thoughtful interior design that combines really well with their image. Using raw materials and applying them in a very smart way to create a distinctive ambience that adds to casual and cozy dining and drinking.

They have a very extensive menu with plenty of options and creative takes on the casual izakaya food, that will make you want come back to try more and more.

They also have 3 kinds of Sapporo beer on tap (Silver, golden, and black soon), as well as draft Asahi beer, and combined with it there is an arsenal of some of the best sales you can find, and if that wasnt enough you've got about 4 menu pages or more with sake and beer based cocktails with very creative flavors.

A lot of their aromatic and fruity mixes are also perfect for women who want to drink.

They stem from their headquarter restaurants in Saigon, and they do put a lot of care into their food quality and consistency, for that they are trained by expert Japanese chefs.

I definitely recommend it for friends meeting, quick dinner, late night dinner/snacks,drinks, ... Any excuse, really. Just come and have a look at this design marvel!

Outstanding restaurant with Japanese and Korean dishes. Service is outstanding, the restaurant is lovely, and the food excellent.

It really feels like they’re shooting for a higher bar here. We had the octopus and cucumber salad in miso dressing. It was tasty with the octopus cooked just right. It even had a little kick to it which I always love. We followed it with a chicken thighs skewer in teriyaki sauce and a pork belly skewer salted. We also had the curry rice with the chicken and a croquette. We shared a bowl of the salmon soup, which was delicious. (Watch out for small bones? At the bottom of the bowl). All in all a wonderful meal that felt luxurious and yet was quite reasonable! One of my very favorite meals...

I spent 2 days for dinner on new restaurant in town. In Mangetsu they have 3 area: front bar counter, kitchen counter and sushi bar on upstair. I think here can be good place for quick dinner, have some yakitori with berverage, dating or drinking after work. Unlike many Izakaya which you can easily find in Da Nang, Mangetsu has something very unique that I think you should visit. Food is great, many choice and some dishes which inspired and improved from traditional japanese foods. As the name, they have a lots of Shochu also Sake. They also have Sapporo, Asahi draft beer with reasonable price and mixed drinks, sake cocktail for people who can't drink much alcohol.
