Local Delight. Friendly to Tourists!
This spot is next door to a hotel I stayed at. I knew it was good because of the amount of locals that were dining. The lady owned business was bustling with people… but it was the smoky aroma that filled the air which really pulled me in. You pay for meat by the stick, and for 8k a stick you are really getting an amazing deal. We sat slightly puzzled by the rice paper, when a local recognized our confusion they helped us learn how to eat the food properly. So sweet! Read moreAlthough the food is very tasty, the tables are small and the chairs are small and super loud because they're made of cheap metal. The floor doesn't get cleaned throughout the day, and the environment in general does not feel clean. The salad is stored without protection from insects, and if there's one thing countries like Vietnam has a lot of, it's egglaying insects. I wish a restaurant with a good reputation like this one would take cleanliness more seriously, and see they're business soar to a new level as a result once the customer can actually enjoy the already...
Read morechanced upon this stall while walking to cho han market. saw two ladies grilling the skewers over charcoal grill and was immediately captivated by that sight; mountainous amount of skewers were grilled perpetually while the aroma wafted through the surrounding area. had the veggie wrapped skewer and it was a pleasant surprise, the taste definitely surpassed my expectations!! the owners were very welcoming and even showed the steps to enjoy the dishes. (ps: a tourist here)
