Myself and my girlfriend were very excited for the Fire and Water show experience. We are usually pretty good at checking reviews ahead of time to avoid scams and poor experiences but after booking through get your guide missed the negative reviews on Google this time. Fingers crossed you see them ahead of time and don’t make the same mistake.
We are pretty low maintenance people and are usually quite happy to row in with whatever the norm is in any event we attend. However on rare occasions we feel it’s important to leave a negative review. The boat itself looks like it’s about to take on water at any moment. Rusty and crappy, as are the tables and chairs scattered around the decks. We were happy enough to make the best of it and took our seats as we weren’t given any guidance on arrival. Shortly before the “dance show” (which consists of one person) was due to take place, we were told where we were sitting had previously been booked. We later learned this was not the case.
We reluctantly moved from our seats looking at a now completely full deck and were shown to a table for two which already had people on it. The table of two were then moved to our original seats and a waitress on board let slip that the seats aren’t booked but rather randomly pre-allocated. So if that’s the case why swap two tables of two neither of which had reserved a particular table? We would have been happy to reserve or pay more for a particular table if the option had been presented to us?
Now in our seats at the back and unable to see, my girlfriend asked to speak to the manager to politely air her grievance. When she spoke to him he looked at her, decided to ignore her and continued on with whatever other duties he had. He then refused to look at her despite several attempts to speak with him. I understand sometimes there can be a language barrier but this was definitely not that. I think we would have been happy enough with the shoddy boat and bad seats (if it was just explained to us) but being rude to paying customers because you couldn’t be bothered is something I can’t abide.
My advice would be don’t pick this cruise, some of the other ones looked nice or alternatively go for a walk close to the bridge or pick a rooftop bar not...

I always love Danang but this terrible experience has left a bad taste… pick your cruise tour carefully and just avoid this one. be CAREFUL when you step on the temporary metal plank that they poorly put for you to step on the cruise. It FELL when my father stepped on it and left his hand injured. Could have been a serious accident if he didn’t manage to get a strong grip and if there were more people on it at the same time. A TOTAL SCARY EXPERIENCE. staff gathered just behind our table and chatted & sang loudly and not paying attention to customer services. our family was very excited to see the dance show “mua Cham” with proper custom as advertised but just 1 girl did 2-min dance without any proper outfit… it’s a scam. it’s supposed to cover 5 bridges but skipped one without any explanation. the cruise was supposed to leave at 8pm but we waited until 8.30pm hygiene was not that good… it just felt quite dirty overall. Read moreHi, As much as I love other services in Danang, I have to write this review to warn people about the worst experience I have got from " the Dragon Cruise" :" Tàu Rồng Sông Hàn" on the 4th of April, 2025. I have booked the ticket 3 days advance. Asking the ticket office to get an outside table so it is easier for my family to get the look for the dragon bridge. They said yes but when I arrived on the day, they said it is full. I was upset but anyway, I accepted the middle seat, then a group of western foreigner came after me, ask for the outside table without booking , the manager said yes. What kind of service is that, why they got special treatment? The second issue is on the booking, they said the boat will leave at 8 Pm asking passengers to come 30 mins earlier. I HAVE ARRIVED AT 7.30 AND TILL 8H30 PM ,WHEN I asked, they ask us to wait 30 mins more.
