Amazing vegan belgium waffles!

Wow, I really love the vegan belgium waffles! I am german, living super close to Belgium, so I know how a Belgium waffle should taste. And here it tastes like you are in Belgium.

I love, that they offer also a vegan belgium waffle with fresh fruits and two different vegan sauces (coconut sauce & maple syrup). You can choose between the traditional Belgium waffle (vegan and non vegan option) and the sweeter, crispy waffle version.

All waffles are made fresh, served with different toppings like fresh mango, fresh strawberries, nuts, caramelized banana and non-vegan options like cream, different ice creams and delicious sauces. You can order a la carte or create your own, custom waffle.

I ordered the vegan waffle, because I need to eat vegan because of a lactose intolerance, and I loved the waffle!

It was super crunchy from the outside, just like it should, and so soft and fluffy from the inside. The perfect combination, fresh made and so so good!

They told me, it would take 15 minutes to make a vegan waffle, but it only took 5-10 minutes and it was the best waffle I had in Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam since 7 months now.

Sadly this restaurant is a bit hard to find, in a small street which looks like there is nothing. But it's absolutely worth, going here.

Really, this is the place you need to go if you want super delicious, tasty and perfect made waffles from Belgium, vegan and non-vegan!

Wafel in Da Nang - A Delightful Hidden Treat!

During our visit to Wafel in Da Nang, we had the pleasure of trying their strawberry and coconut mango waffle, and it was an absolute delight!

The waffle itself was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, providing a wonderful texture with every bite. The combination of fresh strawberries and jam was a match made in heaven.

The presentation was also top-notch, making the dish as visually appealing as it was delicious. We also tried the coconut mango waffle, which was just okay. While the mango added a nice touch, it didn't quite live up to the high expectations set by the combination of coconut gelato and coconut sauce.

Additionally, we enjoyed their strawberry smoothies, which were very good and hopefully not too fatty. If they did use real fruit with no added sweeteners, it would make for a refreshing and healthy drink. However, we couldn't confirm if they used fresh strawberries.

The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. Despite this, the staff were friendly and the overall experience was positive.

The ambiance of Wafel is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax with friends. Whether you're looking for a sweet treat or a place to unwind, Wafel in Da Nang is definitely worth a visit. Google search before coming as it is hidden at the corner of a quiet sweet. You would...

We came here to enjoy the waffles this afternoon. I had the banana Brulee with salted caramel sauce and my husband had the BLT. Both were amazing! I loved my sweet waffle and it such a lovely treat. Hubby had a Vietnamese white coffee and I had a latte. Both were delicious!

The staff is really kind and hard working.

So why the low rating? When we got there, there was one table who had finished their meal and a second table, 4 people, who hadn't been served yet. Despite there only being 1 other group ahead of us, we waited over 30 minutes for our waffles. 30 minutes!!

This wasn't the staff's fault. They are kind, hard working and were doing their best to get everyone served ASAP. This is the owners fault. Hire more staff. The waffles are expensive and at this price point, better service is expected. Hire two or three more people and provide the service you are charging for. I've been here 3 times and it's the same long wait every single time and many other reviews say the same thing. If the owner cared, they'd have done something about it by now.
