We ordered our coffee downstairs and the lady there showed us rules that we must follow when playing with the cats. Some of the rules were not to force the cats into our arms, not to hit them etc.. these are basic things that no one should do to the cats. As soon as we got upstairs, a STAFF member picked up a cat (forcefully) and was trying to place it on our laps (which the cat obviously wasn’t happy about). She got irritated at the cat a few times and slapped it/yelled at it. The staff member basically wasn’t even following the rules for the welfare of the cats which made us feel uncomfortable. Please make sure you hire people who love, care and know how to treat cats and make sure your staff are following the rules there.
Also, I noticed some children there (who’s parents/guardians were not watching them) who were kicking the cats and throwing the toys in the their faces which would cause a lot of stress for the cats.
The cats are also over fed and don’t seem happy at all.

Arrived in evening so maybe cats were a bit sleepier than usual but they were not particularly friendly and often seemed wary to be pet. When it was feeding time they were more perky but not especially interested in humans. You can buy food to feed the cats but I think there could also be food for humans as I was craving cake but they only serve drinks here. A calm environment (as most catfes are with gentle music playing). Sat on floor as the table which I initially thought was a seating bench is not for sitting but it was still cozy and I stayed for...
