This place use to be good. But, today I had a very poor experience with their food and service. We ordered a fresh salad, chips, pepperoni sandwich and an eggplant parmigiana. First, the salad came with no bread (previously the salad always came with bread) and looked sad and empty, mostly just lettuce. The chips followed the salad and were ok, nothing amazing. Then came the pepperoni sandwich which was the second disappointment after the salad. The sandwich was basically just salad and 9 tiny cut up pepperoni pieces. Hardly any meat to cover the bread. But, the most annoying part of the meal was after everything was eaten the eggplant parmigiana finally came and it was heated up. Warm on the edges and cold in the middle. We complained and the staff took it back and said they would fix jt. After 15 more minutes of waiting, we asked were the eggplant parmigiana was, and the waitress said sorry we are reheating jt. Sorry, reheating it and it’s been 15m?! Once it finally came back, the eggplant parmigiana is clearly frozen and reheated with tomato sauce from the can. It’s so salty and irritated my stomach I couldn’t finish it all. So after all this sad attempt for lunch, we end up paying in full approx 700k vnd and have to go next doors to the Japanese restaurant to finish off lunch. I won’t be coming back to this restaurant. The food was overpriced for what it is. It seems the restaurant is cutting costs on food and the quality of food has significantly lowered. The staff seemed to not care and were not in any rush to fix the problems we complained about. Please don’t waste your money here when there are much better Italian...
Read moreToday we visited this place for the second time, because the first time everything was super nice and delicious. 3 stars for that time. But today the waitress was super inattentive and forgot about my friend's order - carbonara. She speaks English not well, but it's ok, we are in Vietnam.(Even if the restaurant is in Tay Ho district and prices are not low for Vietnam. But still...the food❤️) So we tried to explain that we want the same Lipton Tea, but in a pot, not in a cup. I was going to show her the picture of pot, but she said that she understood and left. Later another man came to us and explained that the waitress didn't understand what they should change in my Ruccola salad. I explained one more time, that I need original salad, but tea in a pot. So as a result, my friend didn't get her pasta carbonara, when she asked about it 1 hour later, the waitress even didn't say sorry....nice service. We asked to pack our pizza, because we ate only 2 slices. And she decided, that instead of giving us the box, it's better just throw all the pieces in a paper bag🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Guys....Your food is super delicious. Bread is above Standart for sure. Please, fix the service, it's ridiculous. No wish to visit you again. P.s. Gnocchi with lamb were super tasty! And the...
Read moreMy dad and I decided to go out for lunch. We want to go to Cousins, as it was literally on the other side of the road from where we are standing, but apparently, it was shut down. So we went to Pizza Pomodoro, an Italian restaurant we saw on the way. The restaurant had a garden where we could dine, but we decided to eat inside, as it was blazing hot outside. The inside was air conditioned, but the ambience was kind of bad. The room was kind of bland, and on the first glance, you would think this is a cheap-eats restaurant, not an Italian one. Also, there was this stupid music that kept on playing. But the food was pretty good. We ordered tuna salad and a meat lover pizza. The tuna salad had a very unique taste. I really appreciated the fact that there are cherry tomatoes in the salad, but hated the red onions. Also, I think the chef could really do better with the salad dressing. The meat lover pizza was good. The base was thin and soft and chewy, just as I like it. The sauce was bold, but a teeny tiny bit too salty, but no big deal there. The ham, bacon, and...
