Sol Pizza — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Service is good, atmosphere is nice, but the prices are outrageous. We enjoyed the pizza deal with 50% off and also our drinks were 50% off due to happy hour. With the whole bill 50% off I thought it was ok value, but even with the 50% off I wouldn't recommend it. The pizzas weren't great. We had the Sol pizza which was a bit boring and the toppings were quite far off the crust, so a lot of plain dough you are eating. We also had a special Hot Pig pizza (full price 370k) which was waaaaaay too spicy. There might be people who are into that, but to me the balance was lost. The taste was good though. They do use quality ingredients for everything which is good and the bottom is nice and thin. The wine and beer werent impressive to us either. Overall nothing we ordered seemed to really satisfy. We got “plain” pizza with mozzarella, something else and another type of cheese, but unfortunately I didn’t notice any mozzarella. It was very empty and tiny, which is not bad, but if I wanted to eat crispy bread with tomato paste, I would go to another place. I think this quality of pizza is very overpriced even for European standards. So, pizza 2/5.

The cider was tasty, but I didn’t feel well after the bottle, so I would question the quality.

Service is amazing especially for Vietnam, people were welcoming and nice. Service is 5/5. Atmosphere is also very pleasant for staying - 5/5.

Very good quality ingredients and usually super yummy pizza. I’ve had both the Sol and the pepperoni pizzas on different occasions, both takeout and delivery. The pepperoni pizza I got last time for takeout had some holes in the dough though and wasn’t super warm even tho it was just a 4 minute drive home but the taste was still great. The Sol pizza I’ve had delivered via Grab before though was so delicious & arrived hot. Wish there was more consistency so that’s why the 4 stars.

Side note: It is a bit overpriced compared to the other pizza spots in the area and the dough is pretty thin so you’re not left super full- but again, the ingredients are fresh & very good quality!
