I’ve been coming to sushidukoro for many years and always order the same thing. Today was the most unpleasant dining experience. I always order the sushi soba set and ask to swap out the tuna with with shrimp or salmon , I also ask what is in the side dishes and if one of the side dishes have meat I’ll ask for no meat or to swap
To a salad.
This is my standard order and I never have any problems for years. Today the waitress serving me got so angry and told me that I’m swapping too many things. Pushed the Alarcart menu on me and said I better order from
There. When I asked for just a moment to consider she stormed off to get another waitress that came in with a note book and pen and told me aggressively how there are too many changes so
I have to pay more or order ala cart .
It wasn’t so much the information but how it was conveyed. So impolite and rushing me to make a decision on something that is a standard order by me . Today has been a really long day for me and all I wanted was to come in for an easy lunch that I have thousand of times and this was the treatment of your staff. I was so hurt by this hospitality that I cancelled my order and left. I love your food and hope you can improve the manner of your staff. I tried to find a private channel like Facebook or Zalo to contact you but there is none. This was the only outlet. Read moreI have just ordered from Sushidoro Yukata, and it was a disaster. I made a first call to ask if they do delivery, the employee says yes. When I ask where I can find the menu online she says that it is not online. I am bit surprised, and actually I find it in 20 seconds on foody.vn. Anyway. I phone back and place an order, mostly fried and tempura things. The employee says it will takes 40 minutes to deliver to my place. I agree. After 50 minutes, still no news from them, so I decide to call back to check what is happening. The employee tells me the driver has left 10 minutes ago, so he should arrive soon. 10 minutes later (i.e. 60 min after the order), still nothing. I phone them back and says that the delivery is still not there, and that if it is true that the driver left the restaurant 20 minutes ago, my tempura will be cold and soft, and that is an issue... The employee says "ok, so we cancel", and hang off the phone like that! I tried to call back twice but they never answered the phone...That is so rude and unprofessional... Such a level of service... Conclusion, although the food is pretty good, I will never...
Read moreToo bad this reasonably priced and delicious place have been having an insane drop in their service over the last few months. I am a long time customer and i am sorry to say something happened in the management here to the point that I am no more willing to eat in this restaurant: staff is way less organized than before, orders come 15min later for some and after more than one hour for other, drinks may come twice, the sushi chefs get out of the counter to go serve at the tables, wasabi and ginger served after finished the sushi…a total disaster. We had to go downstairs multiple times to seek for our food expecially because the children were starving and they kept being saying the food was coming when instead it was not even in preparation. When we asked for the manager no name was given. And this was just about last time. Previously other similar experiences happened . I hope the boss/manager of the restaurant will read this and do something because I am honestly sad they are letting crumble a good...
