Yazawa Ha Noi — Restaurant in Hà Nội

I came in just before 5pm on a Wednesday on my last full day in Hanoi. They hadn’t opened yet but still sat us quickly. Hieu was my server and he did such an incredible job, very thorough with his job and knowledge of the menu. I discussed with him my reservations about omakase style (I’m not keen on appetizers) so he walked me through my best a la carte options based on my preferences. We chose the chateubriand steak cut (130g at $2,580,000 vnd), wagyu garlic butter rice ($460,000), wagyu tenderloin cutlet sandwich ($1,800,000), the Kagoshima signature slice of sirloin yazawa-yaki ($580,000), and then finished off with brown sugar egg pudding and vanilla ice cream. Every item was cooked to perfection in front of us and every bite melted in my mouth. Delicious!!! The bill, with taxes, beers, and desserts, totaled to $255 USD. This was one of the best food experiences we had while visiting Vietnam. Firstly when we arrive to the restaurant we were greeted by the whole staff. We choose one of their tasting menues and we were blown away from start to finish.

The service were personal and extremely attentive. Yuta who was our server/Somellier guided us through every dish and helped us to pair them with really good wines. He introduced every dish and informed us from wich part of the animal the meat came from.

The food had extremely high standard both in tastes and presentation. I was amazed over the Sashimi and Sushi and still have dreams about it.
