WINKS Coffee & Bar — Restaurant in Hội An

Absolutely loved this spot.

Staying at the Hoi An Blue Sky Boutique Hotel & Spa we decided to venture and check out the surrounding area and stumbled on this mom and pop shop.

We received a warm greeting as both of us walked into the cozy shop, and it continued throughout our entire stay there with the owner smiling and checking up on us.

The service was fantastic, with the owner knowledgeable on the products and suggestions, the story of the business and just overall friendly human beings.

I ordered the Vietnamese black and white coffee and both were absolutely refreshing and delicious while my partner order a Matcha latte, which she was craving, that was the right sweetness for her. We sat and enjoyed as we watched the morning commuters go by on their start of the day.

I've visited Winks 3 times so far during my stay in Hoi An and will probably be here once more before I leave! Winks is a small family business run by a lovely couple with an adorably friendly little son. The wife speaks excellent english and is both welcoming and charming. They prepare very tasty coffees (I prefer the Saigon and coconut coffees) and tasty juices as well. While there is no air-conditioning, the patio is well shaded and has a couple of fans. Great spot to start the day with an early latte while watching the street come to life. Coffee is a good strength, nice flavour and always served with a welcome drink and a smile.
